I flow from Chicago to Arizona on December 23 2010. To come and spend the holidays with my granddaughters. Not only did I paid an arm and a lag for my tickets I had to pay $100.00 extra for my suitcase because they said it was over waight and when i arrived to Arizona I found out that thay had stolen itams and christmas gifts out of it. This has happend 3 times already. I have sent letters, e-mails and I have even called. American Airlines have never attempted to talk to me. Because not only are they lazy and thefs they do not know how to treat there costumers. I will do everything I have to do to close down this airline.
So I would like to tell everyone NOT to fly with American Airlines.

I read where your people saved the day with the overweight passenger whose photo appeared on the Fox news network. I was very upset at first when I saw how awful some people were acting over the large passenger. But, your people really handled it wonderfully. I read that they offered a later flight with an upgrade to the middle passenger and he accepted,then offered the middle seat to the large gentleman. Problem solved. I love American Airlines!! I will always choose you. You are truly in the "people serving" business. Thank-You!!

In October, my husband and I flew from Colorado Springs to Dallas and were suppose to fly on to Shreveport. Because of dense fog our flight was cancelled after 7 hours of waiting at the airport. The employess of American Eagle were extraordinarly professional and patient with all the people that were literally screaming at them. I, personally,appreciate them putting safety in the fore front. We were all given rooms for the night at a nearby motel or hotel, meal vochers, re-ticketed for the next day and shuttled to our hotels. I appreciate all the effort of the American Eagle personel in Dallas and how patient they were with everyone. One lady I heard had been there since 7:30 am that day and it was after 10:00 pm so she had put in many hours over and above her scheduled day. Thank you AA for taking care of us when the situation occured. I appreciate all the effort!

They canceled our flight to Bermuda for our 50th Wedding anniversary in 2008. We were using frequent flyer miles given to us by our nephew and when I went to use them for this year, they informed us they were canceled and they have done nothing to resolve it but big on giving us the run around. Will never ever fly AA again.

I used mine and it was a nightmare! Over 13 hrs going down, 11 1/2 coming back.Plus they forced me to pay $ over the $500 value. Normally the trip should have taken 4 hrs each way and cost under $300. After I complained, I was ignored, I then contacted FAA and suddenly AA contacted me, They still refused to help. My luggage was "lost" both going and coming back. Tomorrow will be a week and I still haven't seen my luggage.

What's this crap AA charging troops scheduled to meet enemy...have you lost your sense of reason...I'm requesting investigation of your cheap tactic with Senate and Congressional personnel. Your arroganrt President of AA can resign if he feels the way he does towards the troops, in fact he can go to hell...we don't need him or AA...Get out of the business if you can not make it...you disgrace the name of AMERICAN.
