Mr. Vaughn I appreciate you taking the time to forward this to our President. He has asked me to inform you of exactly what has transpired with this particular customer.
Originally I was made aware of this issue when Mr. Customer e-mailed our customer care address explaining his distress with our Whitby Store. Without investigating I gave Mr. Customer the benefit of the doubt and followed up with a phone call asking what I could offer to correct the situation. Mr. Customer’s response was that he was looking for a Television and a deal. After agreeing to visit our Scarborough location I suggested that he contact one of the Manager's who would personally look after him and treat him as a "VIP". After his visit I followed up with the store to inquire how everything went. "He is very happy with his purchase" everything should be good from here on we gave him the full vip package with staff pricing as well.
After a few weeks I received another e-mail from Mr. Customer explaining his dissatisfaction with his purchase as he paid $1098.00 for a 42" Panasonic TV that a competitor is now advertising for $998.00. After careful investigation with this competitor this TV was not available except at there clearance store for display models. I explained that at the time of purchase the TV was a current line TV sold brand new in a box and that the price we were offering was substantially cheaper than any other retailer. Out of good will We offered Mr. Customer $100.00 in gift certificates to try and satisfy his concerns.
Again after a few weeks Mr. Customer sent an e-mail expressing his dissatisfaction with the fact that he received 4 x $25.00 gift certificates and that they must be used at separate times as oppose to a single $100.00 credit. I again explained to Mr. Customer that this was an offer of good will and that I stood behind our actions and felt very comfortable with how he was looked after. Currently the same TV was being offered on that competitors website at $1299.00 out of their clearance centre.
Unfortunately I cannot speak of the initial experience Mr. Customer encountered at our Whitby Store. I do know that he was very happy with his second experience outside of the price advertised by a competitor. Clearly when you look at the facts of how the product was advertised( discontinued clearance floor model ) versus current line brand new in a box I believe there is not an issue here. I finished our last e-mail with a response asking Mr. Customer to please call me if he did not feel fully satisfied. Again a few weeks later another e-mail appeared.

...I WAS SOLD AN EXTRA WARRANTY FROM BAD BOY THAT IT TURNS OUT ...I NEVER NEEDED. THE SALES MAN INSISTED THAT I NEEDED IT. HE SAID THAT GOD FORBID A REPAIR MAN SHOULD COME TO MY HOUSE 3 TIMES FOR THE SAME PROBLEM THEY WOULD REPLACE THE T.V SET NO PROBLEM. WHEN AFTER THE 3RD VISIT FOR THE SAME PROBLEM CAME AND PASSED I WAS TOLD THAT MY WARRANTY DOSN'T TAKE EFFECT TILL AFTER THE WARRANTY FROM SAMSUNG IS UP.
THIS IS BADBOYS TRADE MARK ...SELL CUSTOMERS EXTRAS THEY DON'T NEED (JUST LIKE THE HD CORD I BOUGHT FOR A HUNDRED BUCKS) THEY SAID I WOULD NEED IT FOR THE BELL RECIVER, ..LOW AND BEHOLD THE RECIVER CAME WITH ONE. I DID NOT NEED THIS WARRANTY AND THEY KNEW IT!!! I DID NOT NEED THE CORD AND THEY KNEW IT!!!
IT IS NOW MY PERSONAL MISSION IN LIFE ...TO BRING THIS STORE DOWN!! ...AND I WILL NOT STOP! EVER! ...AS LONG AS I LIVE I WILL NOT LET THIS GO AWAY!!! MY GOAL IS TO SEE DENNIS HODGSON (THE MANAGER WHO WORKS AT THE LONDON LOCATION)..LAUGHING ON THE OTHER SIDE OF HIS FACE DOWN AT THE EI BUILDING!!!.

We ordered over $6000 in furniture from them. Moved into a new house, and had set the date for delivery to be on the Friday of our move, expecting to receive at least the bedroom set to sleep on. Friday came along, no delivery. I contacted their delivery warehouse and store, and supposedly the delivery driver had already come and no one was home. There were five people at our house, with four cars on the driveway and the garage door was wide open. There were no tread marks in the snow on our street from a large truck. We got our delivery rescheduled for the next Tuesday. Tuesday came and no delivery. Contacted them again, and this time they told us that they do not have our furniture in stock. So how did they come on the previous Friday? Liars. We called them again to complain, and the delivery was rescheduled for the next day (Wednesday). Wednesday came and went. Still nothing. We called the store, only to have them hang up on us everytime we called. Who do we call to deal with this childish nonsense? Finally got a hold of someone at the delivery warehouse, and they told me that a memo was sent out rescheduling the delivery for 2 months later. How? Thursday came and we got 2 pieces out of 8. The one dresser was completely demolished; stained and cracked. Don't get me wrong, the delivery guys were very polite, and also mentioned that the store in London is the worst store they have ever dealt with. So now, I am considering reversing my credit card payments and am definitely reporting them to the BBB. I suggest you do the same. I had taken days off from work in order to wait for the "9-5" delivery; who will compensate me for those 4 lost days. We are still sleeping on the floor... No apologies, no reimbursements, crap customer service, especially in the store. Beware, the salespeople just want their commission, and will not help you in any way when you experience problems. Liars, liars, liars... is Lastman a liar too? How do I contact him? Go to the Brick.

I bought furniture at he burlington location on the long weekend in august,dining room set lazyboy chair and sofa, two days before i was to receive the furniture i was told that the dining room set came from overseas and was watermarked, i told them i had nowhere to sit for meals so they said they would send me a loaner. when they arrived the guys were rude didn't know what was going on sent me the dining table that i bought which a pub style when asked if this was the table i purchased they didn't know the chairs they sent were odd chairs and were kitchen chairs so if you sat at the table your chin sits on it.great, nobody replies to phone calls or e mails , obviously they do not want repeat business they certainly won't get it from me and i will let everyone know of there so called "customer service" which doesn't exist!!

I emailed them and they never replied. You have to call them. I ordered a bed and mattress, I was lucky that they delivered on the day that we specified, but it was late for like 3 hours. They didn't deliver the hardware (screws, bolts... etc) that were supposed to be included with the bed. I called them and they say it will take 1 to 6 weeks to order them. What a service, I will never buy from them again! Now, I only hope I do receive my hardware. Did I mention that the sale person were rude after they got our money???

We purchased 3 sofas and a love seat. the love seat is back ordered. We received 2 sofas. One sofa missed the delivery truck, then it was lost, then it was found a week later, then it was scheduled for delivery, then it did not come, then it was rescheduled for delivery, then it lost, then it was found, and finally again today it was lost. People on the phone are useless and emails are not being returned. I have even went as far to sending the owner an email. Alas, great prices, but probably not worth the headaches. We are still lost.

The sales person that we dealt with was great, took time to talk to us and we decided on a table and chairs for the living room. When we called about delivery, they said that they sold the table and would replace it before delivery which was happening in a couple weeks. When I asked why the person on the phone was extremely rude. Would not give me an answer and then said he had to get off the phone to deal with customers. What was I? I spend over $3000 and he could not deal with me. I called backed a couple other times and people with extremely rude and a couple times I was cut-off. I was calm when I was talking to them and at no time was I rude like they were. What happened to customer service. Wasn't here. When the delivery came, they just brought the chairs. No table. What am I supposed to eat off of? Why did they do that?? The manager said he did not know why the table didn't come. They probably didn't replace it after they sold it previously. If I don't get the table this week, I'll bring the chairs back and get my money back. Another company has the same table so I'll probably get it from them. I will never deal with Bad Boy again.

I ordered a full living room suite from the london store, the delivery guys didn't unwrap it and place it and to my horror most of the wood work was completelly split. I was told the line of furniture was now discontinued and i couldn't get replacements, 3 weeks later i got some replacement wood work from manufactorer but since have found more damage to sofa.
Total calls to customer service = 7
Store visits = 4

This is the worst company we have ever dealt with. We purchased our furniture in the new London store and what a joke it was.They couldn't figure out what to send us and we paid our bill in full and they kept calling and telling us that we owe them money. The movers we very rude to my wife and right in front of our 11 yr old son. The broke things in our home and never even offered to pay for it. I will pay twice as much somewhere else before i will ever go there again.

I went into the Barrie Store to buy a sofa. The Salesman was excellent but came back & told us it would not be in for another week that was okay. Then he went to the manager and he said it would not be in until the end of August. We then asked if we could buy the floor model and the Manager was so rude he said it had to stay so that he could take orders but as I said if they were not available until end of August what was the difference, he replied you are lucky you are only waiting until the end August some customers are waiting until end of September. He was so rude and couldn't care less whether we bought or not so guess what I went elsewhere where my business was appreciated and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Sorry to say but I will not shop at Bad Boy and cannot recommend them.
p.s. I felt sorry for the poor salesman he lost commission.

I had really hard time with them and before sign anything please read . very important. You can get the good quality stuff around kenney/ lawrence area less price. They are rip off. and if you insist to buy make sure to check wwhen the furniture arrives. they will send you the floor mmodel. trust me.

I went to bad boys on keele & finch our salesmans name was larry excellent saleman and very professional customer service i would go back again.

I will never buy from Bad Boys again. Their customer service is very poor and they have nothing like satisfaction guaranteed service. On the other hand I foud Leons much more professional in service.
