Another person screwed on their rebate
I see there have been other people screwed out of their rebates due to a bogus 'missing UPC code'. Received email and postcard saying the rebate was invalid and would not be paid because of this error. Interesting that my photocopies of what I mailed in show the UPC clearly. You've just lost a long time family of BB&B shoppers. Hope that was worth the $25 to you.

Cheap Bedsets
I bought a bed in a bag which was on sale for $80, which isn't super cheap...but it turned out to be crap. The stictching came apart on a few different places and the bow on one of the deco pillows fell off. Well, I sewed it up and chopped it up to that particular item and a year later I bought a bedset for my bed and within a week, some of the deco stitching started to come out and the sequins started falling off. I will never buy a bed in a bag from there ever again! They look good, but don't stand the test of time.

Will not shop with this company again.
It is the week before Christmas and of course I am trying to finish up my shopping...I found a great little Buzz Lightyear bowling rug game which I intended to purchase for my little brother. It was on clearance on the BBB website so I decided to go with this company because I thought they would be more reputable than some random online dealer. I WAS WRONG!

I tried to purchase the item first with my credit card...the website told me my billing address did not match the card. So I tried my debit card, same error. I gave up on purchasing the gift at this point only to wake up in the morning, check my bank and find that I had been charge TWICE for the purchase! ONCE ON EACH CARD! I called the customer support line and the gentleman on the other end of the phone informed me it was because there was a hold on my account!

I have no HOLDS ON MY ACCOUNT according to my bank! I called another person, she told me that it was because the BBB website's "credit reporting agency" uses my old address, and I should check my CREDIT???!!! I have great credit, the last time I checked it all the information was correct!

She offered to help me purchase the item over the phone at that point. So, not only would I have been charged 2 times for a clearance purchase she would charge me a 3rd time! I would have been out over $60 for a $15 clearance item after taxes and shipping!

I DON'T THINK SO! Both people I talked to told me in 4-7 business days my bank would clear the amount...well ladies and gents, it will be Christmas by then, and as a recent college grad I am pretty broke. I cannot afford to be $40 over my Christmas budget!

So BBB, from my bank account to you, thanks for ruining my Christmas gift giving!

poor online customer service
I ordered curtain rods and they arrived in a box without hardware. I attempted to call but was put on-hold. I emailed several times with no response. Finally the hardware arrived but received cheap nailed curtain rod brackets -- Is there no end to this -- Will never shop at this site again. --

awful customer service when dealing w/ bridal registry situations
In December '08 I went into a store to purchase a knife set for a friend's wedding (the groom). They did not have it in stock, but I purchased it that day and the store arranged with another store to have them ship the set to the bride's home. A week after the wedding, the 1st store called to ask me if the bride had ever received my gift b/c they weren't sure if it ever shipped. (She had received it.) This summer I purchased multiple items online to cover both the wedding and shower. After all the shipments came in, I was missing one picture from a set of 2, and 3 bowls from a set of 4. When I called customer service, the gentleman informed me that the picture would be shipped, but that it was a misprint, and the bowl is really just one, even though on my order confirmation, the item description online and on my packing slip, and on the bridal registry list all say "set of 4". He refused to ship me the 3 bowls I was missing because everything was a misprint. I will never purchase anything off a bridal registry from here again, recommend anyone else use them, nor will I ever use them.

Great Service by Samantha--"Sam"
7-1-10 I was in the Bed, Bath and Beyond at Lincoln, NE on PIne Lake Rd.
Sam waited on me and gave us superb service--she retrieved the exact items I requested with diligence and resolve. I have seldom seen such service from anyone in a store with this size and large inventory. She was the most dedicated young woman to have helped me--THANKS! Especially in this day and age!!JKLC

Bed Bath & Beyond rebate for Foodsaver
On May 22, 2010 I purchased a Food Saver at Bed Bath & Beyond at 5732 Highway 6, Missouri City, TX 77459.
On 24th of May I mailed the completed rebate form, original UPC FROM PRODUCT PACKAGE AND DUPLICATE and receipt for this rebate with a cover letter. I DID INCLUDE THE ORIGINAL UPC CODE. Luckily I made copies of all 3 items I enclosed to your rebate dept. On June 9 I got an email said you received my letter & enclosures and gave me a tracking number. When I checked status It gave my Status Detail as INVALID - reason: missing UPC code. - which is not true. I made copy of UPC code & it was stapled to my letter with alll the asked for attachments for rebate. I have failed to get a phone number to voice my complaint to no avail. Please look into

Never received my rebate
I purchased a roasting pan on 11/5/09 and immediately submitted for the $10.00 rebate. It is now 2/5/10 and I have not received my rebate. When I called the rebate center they said that I did not send in the entire UPC code. Lucky for me that I am very organized and I copy everything that I send out. I did indeed cut out the entire UPC code! Disgusted and will not be shopping there again.

BAD EXPERIENCE IN AIKEN S.C.
I have shopped at Bed Bath and Beyond in Columbia area numerous times,however, went to Aiken, SC yesterday with a coupon expired from computer. THe salesclerk suggested we ask her manager if I could use coupon and the manager(or assistant) manager seemed to think I was either dumb or whatever because she told me three times I could not use the coupon and not more than one at a time. I have been employed in a physicians office and in the position of office manager. I really am not dumb or stupid and one time would have been okay. However, it seems the salesclerk was embarrassed with me because when the manager or assistant manager walked away she apologized several times. I wish I had been a little quicker with a response because I would have told her I was glad the store was not full of customers because they would have all heard her response. I really was humiliated when I left the store and I can assure you I wont be going to AIKEN BED BATH AND BEYOND anytime in the future. I'll skip this store altogether. I will shop in Columbia where the employees are very nice and helpful and not condescending.

Fantastic Salesman
Matthew at bedbathandbeyond #47 showed kindness, thoughtfulness, and went beyond the usual salesperson and their responsibilty to the client. I love he store and go there because of helpful personell like Matthew. I give him an A+

About a week ago, I visited the Bed, BAth , and Beyond store at Dadeland, in Miami, Florida. NISHA and her staff, especially KENO, were more than courteous. They were caring, and they worked with me very well. I would like to express how pleased I was ( and continue to be so) to them and to you. I would hope that Bed, Bath, and Beyond understands and recognizes Nekia and the store as very conscientious diplomats, who also know their subject matter, to the public.

expired coupons
Yes, just found out we can no longer use expired coupons any longer is this true? Florence SC store.If this is the the case u r going to loose a lot of shoppers because we made not need anything at that time before it expires. I have never had any problems in this store the management is great an so r the employees that have waited on me. Please don't change this just because of the economy because it helps and I shop there all the time, thanks!

Very Helpful with Rebate Situation
Any problem that someone has with a rebate is not Bed Bath and Beyond's fault. They outsource their rebates. I also received an email that said I sent the wrong UPC code. I simply went to the store and told them my problem and they gave me the $10 out of the register. I suggest if anyone has a problem with a rebate that they simply email the rebate center and explain that they are wrong or contact a store because they will help you out. Their motto is the customer is always right.

Mr Coffee rebate a scam
Needed a cheap coffee maker and saw they had a Mr Coffee that they we advertising was $19.99 after a $10 rebate. After a few weeks, I got an email stating I used an invalid UPC. I don't know how many upc's are on a box, but I do know that they can see that I only submitted one rebate to my address. Using my address and the receipt they should be able to verify even if I somehow cut the wrong upc from the box. I will not trust them again and will let others know my experiance.

B.B.&B, Vero Beach, Fl.
I shop quite frequently at the BBB in Vero Beach, FL. There is one special salesperson in that store. His name is Matt. He goes above and beyond anytime I need help. He has walked me to the other side of the store to help me find items that I am looking for. He has the greatest personality. He seems to get along great with all his co-workers also. He really makes my shopping experience in the store an enjoyable one. I think he deserves recognition for doing an excellant job at serving the public. You really have a good catch there. Don't lose him.

Employee Paul Bonneau
He was so polite, so helpful. When his store (2060 66th Street, St. Petersburg, Florida) didn't have what I needed. Mr Bonneau said he would try to get it for me, he took my phone number. In no time at all he called me back and told me he found where to get them and ordered them for me. He said, he would call as soon as they came in. The whole time, he was friendly, polite, very helpful, and courtious. Very unusual service in this day and age. my partner and i have been shopping at your store since we moved to the area, which is almost 8 years ago. we have had the pleasure to get to know most of your employees on a one to one basis and can only say WOW!

there is never a time that we or one of us goes in the store that we are not greeted with a smile and treated like we are family.

we find that your prices and merchandise are always right on target (forgive the pun) and your return policy is always fair and open.

purcasing a gift for out of state
My Grand daughter and I made a purchase in Dallas,Tex.at 5100 beltline rd. on 6-23-07 to be picked up at on market center in Chesapeake,Va.It was a very positive experience from beginning to end shopping with you all.We had wonderful help in Dallas and it was ready for pick up in less than 24 hours in Chesapeake.With sevice like this I will be back soon.

coupons are a rip off !
can't get coupons through the mail because others in my area code 704 must not be buying much there I am told when i go in and ask to use coupons from the computer!!! Bought $1,477.00 worth since March of 07, and haven't received coupons or cannot use others printed from the computer !!! Made to feel like it's my fault i don't have the coupons and better get others in my neighborhood to start shopping there so the coupons will come to me !!! This is "BULL"! Romers45

no rebate
I purchased a set of pots and pans more than 10 months ago, and even though I sent in the rebate forms, plus the fact that I followed up with e-mails and phone calls, I have still not received the rebate. Very disappointed :(
