WE PURCHASED YOUR MODEL CM1010B 12 CUP PROGRAMMABLE COFFEE MAKER LAST WEEK AND HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO POUR FROM THE CARAFE WITHOUT DRIPPING. THERE ARE 4 ADULTS IN THE HOME AND WE HAVE ALL BEEN UNABLE TO POUR WITHOUT SPILLAGE. THE DESIGN OF THE CARAFE IS FLAWED! WE WILL RETURN THIS PRODUCT.

Dear Sir/Madam, I do not expect an answer to this E-Mail but felt that I needed to address a problem that I have had. My wife and I purchased an iron in March of 2008 after the existing one we had failed. I realise that this second iron is now past the warranty date by some 9 months but to be honest, for 2 irons to fail within a year past there warranty dates is frustrating at best. I do not know if the reasons for there failure has anything to do with them being manufactured in China, but a name that has long been synonymous with Quality and service will unfortunately be removed from our consideration.

It should be illegal to sell an appliance that is advertised to perform a task and fail 100% of the time. I would be embarrassed to place my reputation as the seller of this product. Black and Decker used to stand for quality, solid, reliable. Why would a company of such reputation sell a piece of junk like this so called coffee maker. It leaks, never makes a full pot, these are the two tasks that are very important to making coffee, and you failed miserably in both cases. Did your engineering or the research and development department do any testing on this appliance? If they did their jobs these problems would have been taken care of. I know I'm not the only person to complain about this, I have read other consumers having the same problems with this coffeemaker. I would gladly trade you my money back for your coffeemaker anytime.

the trimmer came with two batteries, currently understand why since using. A fully charged batery, just off the charger, lasts about 12 minutes or 27 feet of fenceline. I do hope that after more charges that the capacity will improve so that I might at least finish either the front or back yard prior to resorting to "back to the charger".

I purchased a B&D GrassHog from Home Depot a couple days ago. I didn't get a chance to use it till today, 7-6-09. It is not what I wanted. I have had two B&D GrassHogs before and loved them that's why I bought another one.
This one has the two lines coming out. It wouldn't expel more line right from the first. I took the spool out and the line on the bottom part of the spool was pulled way down under the line and wouldn't come out automatically. I got the line pulled out and it worked great for just about a min. then the same thing.
I finally took all the line off the spool, top and bottom, and rewound them. It was the same thing the bottom spool will not extend any new line.
With my two other GrassHogs I bought a huge spool of.065 line and wound numerous spools of line and didn't have a bit of trouble with the line pulling down in itself. I wind the line very smoothe and make sure there are no gaps or overlaps while winding.
I do not like the two line spool. I wish I could buy one like the other two I had.
It never fails whenever I get something I like then they change it.
I am very disatisfied with this GrassHog.

This is the fourth 5 cup coffee maker (or maybe even more) that i have purchased and had the very same trouble all the time. The problem is the heating platform on the pot...it seems water evenutually gets in there and destroys the heating element.I am very, very careful when i fill the well that no water drips... I have already replaced the coffee maker several times, including once that you sent me a new one...i Love the the pot, it makes great coffee, but.i cannot afford to keep replacing it because of the heating element that is probably so easy for you to correct, and i know i am not the only one with this problem. can you help me...i have the black maker with the stainless pot...i have already had this pot in every color that you make it in, including red, which was also one i replaced...It seems your products only last a year and then dead!!!but we all keep buying them, i wonder why?

A small plastic piece attached to the blade assembly broke. I called the 1-800 number. With S&H the part would be $27.45. I can buy the whole unit for $29. I personally am done with Black & Decker tools and appliances.

I purchased a INFRAWARE countertop oven and when I plugged it in it had no power.This product was definitely not tested when it left the manufacturer!I called the 1-800-231-9786 number from the book that came with the oven at 7 am because the book states callus 7 days a week-24 hours a day.The answering machine said call back during business hours.First we get the faulty oven and then the calling information in the book is wrong.DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!

Ihad an old B&d Grass Hog for about 10 years. Last fall I bought a new one. The old has the original battery and works fine. The new one !8v is apiece of junk. The batteries only last about 15 minutes and it takes all day to recharge. The battery keeps falling out. B&d is definately going backward. Howard

spacemakers are truly great to save space. However, the last three purchases have been short lived. The most recent was installed 4/29/07 and quietly gave up the ghost5/15/08.

I have had two of these in the past 2 years. The first one fell apart. The second one, along with the salvaged charger from the first one BOTH quit working completely. Now I can't charge my batteries! Piece of junk!
