I have had an account with blockbuster for 10+ years. About once a month we would go in and rent about 50.00 worth of movies. However back in jan I rented serveral movies. I returned 3 days past due date. I had been charged 105.00 for movies of which most were old movies and kid movies. After I recieved bill for 105.00 I called them to see if they would cut me a deal since movies were returned. I spoke to the manager Amy at Kingsport Tn Store on eastman road. she was very rude and said i had to pay full price for the movies. I then called the customer sevice and spoke with someone who was very nice and said that he would get in contact with district manager and they would work out a deal for me. He said he would call back in one to three days. That has now been over a month and still no reply. I have called back serveral times I have even been hung up on by the manager Amy. They are still renting out movies that I returned and receiveing their rental fee on each of these but they will not agree to give me a discount amount and then they keep movies. I advise anyone to not rent from blockbuster.
i used to like them even though their fee is higher but you had 30 days to bring in and only pay restocking fees. They advertise they have no late fees.Then they changed their policy to two weeks which is why I was 3 days late in the first place.

Non-viewable DVD rentals, not able to view Queue, Customer Serivce Non-responsive
For 2 months now I've been unable to login to my online rental "Queue" at www.blockbuster.com. I'm able to login to my account, but not able to add rentals to my Queue, view my Queue, or mark rentals that I've received as damaged. I'm paying $17.99 for a service that is currently substandard. I've received seven (7) movies in a row that wouldn't play as they were scratched, but I was unable to mark them as such in my Queue. Therefore, I've paid for movies to be delivered via U.S. mail, and though I've been charged for these rentals I've not been able to view them. I'v merely sent them back via U.S. mail as I can't login to my Queue to mark them as damaged to request new rentals. Over the past 30 days on three (3) occasions I've requested assistance from Blockbuster via the Contact Us link but have yet to hear back.

BLUE RAY LOVERS THIS IS DA BOMB
I became a on line blockbuster subscriber about two years ago I think. It is a much better beal than Net Flicks becouse you not only get the movies in the mail but you also get them from the store. That right, simply return the disc to any Blockbuster and echange it for another disc free. How can they do that and why? I asked a manager dude once and he said coustomer service and a garuantee we get the disc back. Plus millions have signed up so far, thats alot of money each month they are making. Also a free once a month coupon is added to my account. Ive been very happy with my service thus far and now I am even happier once I found out they have Blue Ray. Thats right, a thousand of them, new and old releases, the largest selection out of anyone else out there. Yeah it sounds like I'm an employee of the corperation, I'm not. I'm just a movie lover who doesn't watch regular t.v. I'd rather watch a movie, or get the t.v. series on disc as well as all the discovery and history channal stuff. It's all there in Blue Ray, H.D, and standard discs. Endless dvd's for one low monthly price. So if you own a Blue ray, i'd recomend you sign up. It's a great deal. I'm not just saying that.

Gift card rip off
I work with disabled adults. One of these clients received a gift card for Christmas 2005 in the amount of $30.00. It was misplaced for a while and when we found it, I took this client to the local Blockbuster to spend it. I was shocked and dismayed to be informed that these gift cards expire 1 year from date of issue! How does a gift card which has been purchased and paid for EXPIRE? Imagine what a difficult concept this is to explain to a mentally challenged adult! I don't understand this and I imagine that there are many others who have suffered a loss like this. I doubt that the purchaser is made aware of this at the time of purchase. In any case, 1 year expiration seems like it is much too short. As a result of this and other unfortunate experiences with blockbuster, I will no longer do business there. Life is too short to tolerate this sort of aggravation when there are so many other places to rent or purchase videos.

I am contacting you into reguards to a Blockbuster Online Account we have recently discontinued, we had cancelled the account and about 3 or 4 days later BlockBuster Online took a new monthly fee of almost $20.00 well in taking that all our samll stuff that had not yet cleared the bank bounced which was $5.00-$10.00 and $4.00 and because of Blockbuster Online all these amounts bounced, each bounce fee is $31.00 ... Well we were under the impression that Blockbuster would not take anything because as soon as we cancelled we recieved a notice from the online services that our account has been cancelled so we thought we wouldn't have no worries. We still rent from a
Great BlockBuster Store#48665 we find its just much easier and we are much happier with it but now because of the online amount being taken out we have all these other amounts that bounced, we would like this problem to be resolved or some kind of answers we were only paid back to our bank account the monthly fee but what about the other fee's the online caused us! Please, Please, can we get a responce! You may E-mail me or call.
