Late Delivery, Dying Flowers and Horrible customer Service
We ordered a bouquet that had a "guaranteed" delivery date for Mothers Day. (Sunday, May 13th 2012). They shipped via Purolator who informed us that they do not deliver on Sundays. How was this not known to Bloomex?
The flowers arrived on Monday night. They were wilting, dried out, dying and there was no card attached.
We tried to contact them on Sunday (as soon as we learned they would not be delivered on Mother's Day), however they were not accepting phone calls until May 17th (5 days after the fact), no doubt because of the high amount of consumer complaints.
We tried to contact them via their on-line live chat, but operators were unavailable or non-responsive. There is no way we would ever use them again.
With so many online floral retailers, do yourself a favour and use one other than Bloomex.

They ruin mothers day!
They are all stupid! I ordered flowers last mothers day, and they didnt deliver it on time. So i just cancel it. I received a cancellation email, and after a few days they deliver the flowers. I am chatting with there customer support, after my complain they didnt response and after a few minutes they blocked me! Wth!

Horrible. Will Never use again
I paid for the "best" arrangement to the tune of $80 and the bouquet received couldnt have been worth more than $25, Complete ripoff. I will go to the friendly neighborhood Safeway and get a better bunch next time at a better price.

Flowers beautiful, service non-existent
Our daughter ordered mother's day flowers and was told they would be delivered on Sunday with a card. They sent them from Vancouver (80 miles over water) by CanPar who doesn't deliver on weekends at all. Daughter was told they were on way and would be delivered Sunday. When didn't arrive the phone number was offline until Tuesday!! and the rep chat line was not open (no reps available). The flowers arrived Monday in good condition but the "card" was a printed note on back of receipt!! I would strongly advise against using this company, at least outside of their actual delivery centres (BC for example, only Vancouver).

ITEMS MISSING WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER TOTAL RIP OFF
THE BBB HAS HAD OVER 279 COMPLAINTS REGARDING BLOOMEX,CA THE BBB HAS HAD OVER 1000 COMPLAINTS THIS YEAR ALONE. I ordered flowers,A cookie and chocolate basket and a card for my aunt who lost her dog. They were going to NFLD, I was told they would be shipped out on the 23 and she would have them on the 25. I get an email from the shipper and the flowers were shipped out from NS the 23 by ground. I phoned the shipper who said my aunt would not have her flowers for at least 1.5 weeks and they would be dead. I should cancel. Fist off there is no customer complaint line you have to leave a message and someone will get back to you and no one ever does. So i just phone the order line and talk with the sales reps and get them to help me and also leave message on the complaint line. I phoned Bloomex and they insisted the shipping company who do this for a living was wrong. I knew the shipping company was right but I thought perhaps bloomes was going to reship and fly the flowers so I did not cancel I waited my aunt did not get her flowers on time. I waited two extra days still now flowers. I phone back and want my money back they say sorry why dont we sent two chocolate baskets instead. I insist on my money back. I leave a message and someone finally called me back after 10 left messages. She said she would refuind my money but the parcel was in transit and she could not stop my aunt from getting it. I told her my aunt was better and I did not want her getting anything as it would just upset her again. I check my card and all I was refunded was the delivery fee of 9.99. I paid 90 dollars. I call approx 20 more times each time talking with sales reps and leaving a message on the complaint line. Noone ever returned a call. I also sent about 15 emails. No response back My aunt finally got her package 2 weeks later. 1.5 weeks past the delivery date they gave me and all she got was a little box with 3 chocolates. So I paid 80 dollars for 3 choclates. I reported bloomes to the BBB they have ignored them. My next step is to sue. Its sad how they take advantage of poeple who are in mourning. They blatantly lied so I would not insist on a refund.Do not make the mistake I did and order from this company they are ROTTŁEN TO THE CORE All THEY CARE ABOUT IS THE BOTTOM LINE THE MIGHTY DOLLAR!!

Great Online Florist!!
I've used Bloomex on several occassions. They ahve always provided great value. I'm not usre what people expect but for my money they have done everything as expected as far as product, delivery and customer service. There was a delivery issue - they said it was weather related and issued me a free delviery voucher for my next purchase. The best part about Bloomex is they are 1/2 the price of local florists and lets not kid ourselves - if teh local florist knows you aren't buying them for yourself they always short-change you. I paid $100 for a $25 funeral bouquet from a florist recommended by Funeral Home - I'm sure the Funeral Home got a piece of that action. Anyways - highly recommend Bloomex to anyone looking to make a nice gesture and not break the bank.

26 emails, 3 phone calls, 3 bouquets and 2 boxes of chocolate before they sent the right order.
In May I tried to have some flowers delivered to my girlfriend. I paid for morning delivery. They didn't turn up, and after finally contacting them they sent the wrong ones, twice.

BLOOMEX = RUN BY CROOKS
I don't know where to start, I was planning to surprise my wife with flowers for our 2nd anniversary. I specifically asked them to show up the next day before 11am. Morning deliverys are between 9am-12pm. They NEVER SHOWED UP. I called to request for a refund, they said they would call me back. All I got after that was an email saying that the flowers were delivered which is absolute nonesense. Surprise was ruined, and they're trying everything to avoid refunding me... CROOKS!!! What a huge disappointment for a company that prides on quality and delivery on time... shut down this terribly run company !!

BLOOMEX FLOWER DELIVERY NIGHTMARE--BIGGEST ONLINE ORDERING MISTAKE EVER! MOTHERS DAY RUINED
BLOOMEX.CA FLOWER NIGHTMARE:
My husband lovingly tried to order me flowers for my very first mothers day with this company. What a mistake. For one, they delivered the flowers on the WRONG DAY. How a major national company like Bloomex can screw up delivering flowers on Mothers Day is beyond comprehension, but they delivered the flowers a day early.
When I opened the box of flowers, over half of them were dead. Not just wilted, but dead. The package my husband ordered also came with a chocolate box: instead of good quality truffles they sent dollar store liqour bottle chocolates.
SO...we tried to go through customer service. They would not return calls, or emails, for weeks. From a floral perspective, my first mothers day was ruined. They eventually got back to us, and, despite pictures of the dead flowers and incorrect chocolates sent, refused to give us a refund. They said that they would send replacement flowers, but they never came.
Customer service was deplorable and exhaustive. Owners should be embarassed.
SAVE YOUR MONEY--RUN DIRECTLY TO A REAL FLORIST AND PLACE YOUR ORDER WITH A FLORIST YOU CAN TRUST AND SPEAK TO IF THERE ARE PROBLEMS.

Broken flowers and broken promises
We received a bouquet of flowers from our relative. Bouquet arrived in damaged condition - stems were broken, flowers were dull, etc.
I left 3 to 4 phone messages (there is NO OTHER WAY to speak to a live person), sent 2 emails with the pictures of damaged delivery.
It's been over 3 weeks now - no apologies, no replacement bouquet, nothing. I am very, very dissatisfied.
Would I recommend this company? NEVER!

Bloomex delivered as promised and the product quality was excellent
I read the review about Bloomex after ordering a gift basket and floral bouquet for my husband on March 22, 2011 and was petrified.
I thought for sure that it would not be delivered on time, the flowers would be dead etc etc.
Thank you Bloomex for providing excellent customer service and delivering a product that was envy of my husband's co-workers.
The roses were excellent, the packaging was great and the products in the basket are of great quality.
I am amazed that this company attracts such negative comments.
I had a great experience with them and will definately use their service in the future.
Great job Bloomex.

Wrong order sent!
I ordered 30 tulips for my mom, tulips are her favorite flowers...She received the order on time, but got 12 roses!!! I think there is a big difference between 12 roses and 30 tulips...how can you mix that up? trying to contact boomex now, and no answer!

VERY BAD SERVICE!!!
I ordered flowers from bloomex for my friend at work, she doesn't want people to know it's her birthday...I ordered them on my name, so I would giive them to her when she leaves home. I called first thing in the morning right after they opened and previous day was a static day, so I was the first one to call. I ordered 15 flowers, in a BOX and asked, if possible, to get them before 3pm the same day...I figured it might not be possible, but I asked to put a note because my friend leaves at 3pm. I was informed that they would be delivered btwn the hours of 12-5pm on the day. However, by 5:10pm, there were no flowers delivered , so I called and cancelled the order, because it was past the 12-5pm range. Next day I had to stay home with my daughter, as she was sick, so I went to work the day after. The flowers were there in a vase and when I asked when and how they were brought, our receptionist said that they brougth them at 3pm but on the day after it was supposed to be delivered. NOT THE DAY I ORDERED THEM TO BE DELIVERED, but the next day. To add insult further the flowers were in a piece of paper and not the requested box. There were 14 flowers, not 15 ..., there was no white powder that maintained the longevity of the flowers that usually comes with the flowers and the flowers did not look like they're worth of what I paid for.the whole order was screwed up. I called and asked for the refund, it took me couple of days to get the manager on the phone, there were no apologies and she told me that they will refund to me ONLY when they get their flowers back:-) After all this, they wanted the flowers back LOL before they would refund the money. The delivery guy came next week to get the flowers. Of course the flowers were already wilted and rotten (still not sure why they needed to get wilted flowers back) . When the refund was finally credited, they only refunded me a portion of my money !! They charged me money for the delivery/deliveries the resulted from their screw up :-) I'm a flower person and I buy flowers every year for different occasions from different companies...this is the first time I saw something like this, no apologies, the whole odrer was not what was requested and they also yelled at me on the phone. I don't recommend this company to anyone, if you want to save money and time and energy and you want satisfcation you might want to reconsider doing business with this company .IMHO Better to go SOMEWHERE ELSE !!!

what a joke!
My mom just got home from Afghanistan and because I live in a different province I wanted to surprise her with flowers for her return home.
When they flowers got there Feb 15th they were FROZEN!.. my mom called and told them that they were frozen and to have them recent, they showed up frozen again, and again. My mom gave up and called me and told me it was a nice thought but its to annoying calling them. Just get your money back and you can buy me flowers when you visit. I called 3 days ago, left a message waited for a call back. Just received one and the lady said that after the flowers are sent 3 times, that's all we do. Well I was not aware of this, and there shouldn't be such a problem that you need to send the flowers 3 times! I told her I want a refund because I am extremely unhappy. She says no, part of our policy states we don't give refunds we give store credits. I clearly don't want a store credit for I will never use this company again, then I asked for a manager and apparently she is the senior manager. So we continue and the agent starts to raise her voice at me! I'm so frustrated that I gave up and said give me the store credit. What BS.. They should be shut down!

I am not 100% agree with negative posts here. I have placed 12 orders with Bloomex for the last 4 years and I can see how they progressed over the tim
Few points:
1.Great product value. Non of Canadian florist can match their price
2. Website is a bit dated
3.Efficient customer service. All major steps: placing order, order sent for production, produced, send for delivery, delivery company contact phone and delivery confirmation are communicated through email.

sent me the wrong order and refused to refund or replace order
I ordered a floral arrangement of tulips for my girlfriends birthday. I received some other flowers that where quite ugly. I called for a refund and they asked to send a picture of the flowers and the tag that came with it which I did. a week later I call back and they ask me to send them back the flowers at my expense. The flowers where long gone (in the garbage) and in any case I would have refused to pay extra to ship them back the flowers (shipping back the flowers cost 50% of the original purchase).

After quite some calls and frustration I never got a refund nor did I get the flower replaced...

I'm never ordering again from Bloomex.

Poor quality, slow delivery and lies
I found my experience with Bloomex to be extremely disappointing, to say the least. My son ordered flowers for me for Christmas. They arrived Dec 21st, the packaging was soaking wet, there were several broken lilies, some of the filler flowers were dropping from their stems, and the vase was dry. It appeared that they had fallen over in the delivery vehicle. The next morning the roses were wilted and brown on the outer petals, it became obvious that they had been lying on the floor of the delivery van, or otherwise exposed to the cold.

I couldn't reach customer service, I don't own a camera to post them a photo, so finally I contacted the order desk, who passed on the information. A call back said that they would try to send the order before the weekend. I called on Friday morning, left a message which was not returned (ever), I called again at noon and they were closed. I went online and instant messaged them. I was told that my delivery was on it's way and that deliveries went up to 9pm. When it didn't show up I sent them an email expressing what had happened. I was extremely upset at staying in all day Christmas Eve, for nothing.
On Monday December 27, I reached customer service (ignore the instructions hit 0/operator) she said that they had my complaint and my email and they could replace my order on Dec. 29! I was not happy about that and I asked her to have a manager/owner/someone in charge call me. She said that they would. Seriously, I doubt that they will. Please note that if you demand a refund, they will pick up the mess that they left you and charge you $9.95 pick-up fee. The flowers are now 6 days old and are decomposing, even with water changes - they smell terrible. In order for them to pick them up, I will have to spend another day waiting for them to show up (if they do show up). I will never, ever, recommend this company to anyone.

The flowers were absolutely fabulous, .
The flowers were absolutely fabulous, they were beautiful roses the best my girlfriend had ever seen delivered. The only down fall was she said that the card was abit of a let down. It looked like it was type on part of the receipt. But overall my girlfriend was very happy indeed. The flowers were fresh and are still alive!

Only thing I would like is for the flowers to be fully out in bloom when they are first viewed by recipient - it doesn't make sense to me to have them bloom their best a day or two after the birthday!
