Poor Customer Service
While at the checkout I was rudely advised that my purchase had to be confiscated by the cashier because I had too many light chocolate candy and not enough dark ones. This lady seemed to enjoy her "authority". Most people in that situation would pass along a friendly reminder that you have to evenly select your product and then politely check your product. Not here, I was treated almost like a shoplifter. I personally don't see the problem. Out of 100 people, 5 would select light, 5 would select dark and 90 wouldn't care. Who loses?? However, they have created a problem where none exists for the purpose of restricting and embarassing the customer. This customer has been embarassed for the last time at Bulk Barn. Too bad, I was a weekly customer.

mixed delux nuts (salted) (cashews, almonds, etc.)
The above nuts are of a very inferior quality. I like the ones Costco sells in their plastic containers. At least they don't taste stale.
The ones from Bulk Barn, I noticed are very dark inside,taste awful
and does not seem to have the real goodness texture.
At first they were really good. that's a lot of years ago.
At the price they want, they should be of the best quality.
We don't need to eat nuts, that taste as bad as that bunch of nuts.
Please don't tell me, you don't have control over this. You must
know where they come from and why do they look so old. (inquire please)
Sorry, but I was disgusted with these nuts.

A fun place to shop
Bulk barn is a good place for a wide variety of foods. I especially like the fact that I can buy only what I need, and it is fresh.
One request I have is for nutritional information that I can use at home. Each bin has the information, but perhaps a printout on the reverse of the recipe could be made available for those of us who request it.
