chase
Had a bad event with them doing what they said I could do,now it is dominoing througout, I have lost the faith with them and will from now own document everything with them to have any hope of rebuttals.I took advantage of what sounded like a good deal, now both of us are paying for it.

Terrible Home Page - where is option to pay mortgage?
The automated pay mortgage by phone (which charges $12.00) says you can go to chase.com mortgage to pay your mortgage (free). However, when you try to find that option on the home page, it's nowhere to be found.

customer service
I've been a customer in good standing for some time always paying off my debt month after month. My husband has been out of work for months due to an illness,I'm working 2 jobs 60plus hours a week.my bill is due the 17 of this month I called to change my due date to the 18 my next pay is on that date. They said they can't change the date it is what it is ,but they can change next months date. That helps me how? In the hard times that we are all facing the whole country you would think they could help me out.All I'm trying to due is to avoid late fees and increases in interest that you know chase will increase the minute I'm late on a payment. Some customer service!NOT!! 4-08-08

Dangerously insecure
I tried to do a balance transfer, and more than $10,000 vanished into thin air.
I wanted to transfer money into a checking account. Their page only prompts for the account you're transferring "from", even though that's the account I wanted to send the money _to_.
The inexcusably dangerous part is that the transfer was completed without a confirmation screen. I thought I had only entered my Chase card number, but my money was gone and I had no idea where it went.
When I called, they would not stop the transfer or tell me where it was going. They say it will be reversed when the other bank receives the wire, but I have very little confidence.
You can't send $5.00 to PayPal without confirming where it's going, but chase.com will send thousands of dollars with one click and not tell you where it went.
