A question about your tires
In 2005 I leased a Chysler 300 equipped with your 17 self sealing tires. In a matter of 2 years(28000 miles) the tires were almost bald. I had to replace them in Florida and was not able to bring them home since there was no room in the car. I replaced them with Good year Integra and all is well. To say the least I feel cheated with these tires. This however is not what I am writing this note about.

I am looking to lease a Nissan Altima which is equipped with the following tire. "Continental Pro Contact P215 R 16 M amd S 94T. Since the dealer can give me no information re these tires I went to Green and Ross. They informed me that this is a very good tire that carries an after market warrenty for tread wear of 80M miles or 128,000 Kilos. The tire dealer also stated that the origial tire suppied by you to Nissan is the same tire he sells in the after market. My question to you is " Why would you not offer the same warrenty to the customers of Nissan who have purchased or leased the car new as you offer the dealer who sells the same tire in the after market.

I look forward to your answer.

continental tires
I recently purchased a new colbalt 2008 with continental tires on them. I drove 4,000 miles and had a blow out due to a tear in the side of the tire. I then had to purchase a new tire for a $107.00 which I was not happy about. I did not get any help with this problem and feel I was taken by this tire as it did not last. I would like to get info on this as it gives your tire a bad name. Janet McLeod.

tire failure
On 8-18-07, traveling Phx 101 at about 6-6;30 pm at about 60mph the continental left rear tire tread seperated from the body of the tire in one cirular piece, the tread continued to go left acros the outer lane stoping on the divider. This tire product needs to be investagated, it it is unsafe. Barbara O'Donohoe 480-664-1809
