pirates
I ordered and paid for tan top for my 79MGB on 9/10/12. On 9/20/12 I called and asked about it. I was told that if it hadn't arrived by 9/28 to call back. I was unprepared for this and questioned it. It seems that because I ordered something besides black my order needed to custom built. My order arrived finally on 10/3/12 - 23 days after my money was taken. I was treated rudely by customer support and dissatisfied with the amount of time it took for my order to arrive. I hope that the top is OK because I want nothing more to do with this company.

Hideous looking top for my VETTE.
BUYER BEWARE
CONVERTIBLE TOP GUYS and/or M&T Mfg.

I ordered a top and what I received looked like something I might put on a tractor. Certainly not on a car I care about and take pride in. I went to their website to see if they had any photos showing what their tops should look like and found the photos clearly showed the top I expected. Not the one I received. When I called them to complain and request my money back they said... you got the top you ordered. I told them their photo online shows the top I ordered. They said we are not arguing about this. You want your money back there is a 20% restock fee. ARGH..
Total RIP OFF... STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE IF YOU CARE WHAT YOU CAR LOOKS LIKE..

I would think twice...
I would not recommend buying a top from this web site or M & T Manufacturing Co. I purchased a new convertible top for my car from them online. The accessories were shipped in a timely mannor. However, a month later the actual top had still not arrived. So I emailed Kevin Hartman, the General Manager, and received not response. I called their support land line... again no answer. I called their order line... no answer.
It's now been over a month and still not top...
I would look for another company if I was you.

Won't ackowledge they sent the wrong part
DO NOT use this company! I ordered a complete top with all the accessories, cables, glue, tacking strips, staples and well liner. They immediately took full payment for everything I ordered and sent a partial order. 5 weeks later I received the top and curtain from the order. They spell out on their website that no sewing is required. That is a LIE and I have saved that webpage. First problem was the tacking strips they sent were the wrong size. I contacted them and they sent more of the wrong tacking strips. The staples they sent fit a special upholstery staple gun and not in a staple gun that I could borrow or rent. I had to go by T50 stainless steel staples (not cheap). Then I figure out they sent me the wrong well liner. I have spent two weeks trying to get them to acknowledge that they sent me the wrong well liner and they keep giving me the run around. Then I realized that they sent only the material to make the front seal that goes above the windshield. If they said I needed to do just one stitch of sewing, I would not have bought their product. I now need to take that front seal to an upholstery shop and have it sewed together. I still don't have a fitting well liner. I have pictures to backs up everything I say here.

Sent wrong parts, Charged a restocking fee
I called and order some parts for this 61 TBird. The salesperson gave me the part numbers and told me order them online. So I did. I asked for Cylinders and a hose kit for the Deck lid. And they sent Cylinders and hoses for the convertible top. When the parts arrived (A month later). I realized that they were wrong and called to send them back. The person I talked to realized the mistake too and told me to just send them back. A week later I get an Invoice showing the credit with a lesser amount than I paid. About 80 bucks. When I called I asked "why do I have to pay a restocking fee?" They said since I ordered it online, It was my fault for choosing the parts. Since I ordered it online It was all my fault and there is nothing they can do about it.

If you get the parts you ask for then awesome. But If you get the wrong parts. Be prepared to pay a hefty fee.

Dark Tan German Sonneland top for a '93 300ZX
I shopped for a new top for six months, called and talked to every seller who would answer the phone. These guys had the best answers, and didn't have to think about them-experience shows, and it was evident of everyone I spoke with they had the most. I asked for color samples, and despite an issue or two with delivery of the samples, they came in, and I ordered a German Sonneland canvas top, with cables and instructions, and put the top on myself. It was not complicated, but did require serious effort! The top fit great, looks even better, and does not leak. I will buy my next top here as well-but wait, there is a 5yr warranty on the top-so it will be a while!
