Service is usualy good, have seen unprofessional acts behind counter. Have seen nice stores, namely in Rockport tx. hope state wide, this can be looked at. thanks, George Lewis Dallas Tx.

Possible False visual advertising about Midnight Truffle Blizzards
I've seen ads for the new Midnight Truffle Blizzard. Looks good. Dark chocolate chunks on dark chocolate ice cream. I was having serious chocolate cravings. After having a Swiss Mushroom Burger that was split, squished, and the sauce oozing out, I felt I could use something delicious. I didn't want to complain because I know everyone has bad days... My husband was disapointed as his burger was sqished and flattened also and he was revolted at the sight of mine... He ordered a Midnight Truffle Blizzard for us to share.. You know- the pictures show big chunks of chocolate in a dark chocolate ice cream. Well imagine my disapointment to see a blizzard that was completely bland in color (a light coffee color) and not any chunks of chocolate let alone big chunks. There was not one chocolate chunk in there. When I complained and brought my blizzard up to show her, the employee said that was how all the Midnight Truffles are made. They have to blend it all together and the chocolate doesn't show up. She made a point of saying it was not her fault. I pointed out that it was false advertising. Again, not her fault of course. Here's a little tip Dairy Queen. Teach your employees and supervisors to consider the customer who has just forked over five dollars for something they are not satisfied with. She had alot of bins of chocolate and chocolate syprup, smarties etc. behind her. Surely she could have offered to make amends and add some to my "blizzard". I had to actually ask for something to be done and so then she threw in some pieces of peanut butter type chunks. Then she added insult to injury by saying, Ï'll give these to you free this time, but next time you'll have to order extra topping."!!! I didn't realize until I got to the table that they were peanut butter. My eighteen month old has not eaten peanuts yet and there is peanut butter allergies in my sister's family. Nor was anything done about the lousy burgers when I mentioned that I hadn't brought it up until the problem with the blizzard.
Apparently, the manager was present there that day and the person I was dealing with was a supervisor! I am disgusted with the service. I am also disgusted with Dairy Queen advertising and integrity as a whole. This is false advertising and it's time someone called you on it. The Blizzards you serve, unless the manager was lying, are not the Blizzards that are advertised. I phoned the manager to make sure that this was indeed the Dairy Queen accepted way of serving the Midnight Truffle Blizzards and I was told that the chocolate pieces they are given are indeed so small that they don't show up when blended. And that the icecream is indeed that bland color. Has anyone else found the same?!!

My H.O.T(Heart Of Texas) Dairy Queen is Cool
IHave been a long time fan of DQ since I was a child. In this area(Waco,TX.),Dairy Queen store are a part of our community. Most DQ stores were awesome places to eat and gather to enjoy company of friends and family. However, this is a story of how when one owner leaves his son to run the family business it all goes to heck. I use to visit my nearby location on New Road becuase it was only minutes away from my home, but the staff was not very welcoming and the service was kinda slow,to be nice. The bright side is that Waco has many other locations to visit. I decided to try the newly revamped location on Waco Drive. This location seems to have it all. It is always clean and the employees have an eagerness to work. They greet you with an old fashion Texas smile and warm hello and how are you today. I don't mean a regular,I'm force to greet you. It comes across really genuine. They get your food prepared quickly and it always taste as good as it looks, which is always delicious. They keep the tradition of always turning their Blizzards upside down.I've never figured out why not all locations do the same. I even got to meet the manager Pat. He's a young friendly nice guy that made some time to sit and make sure we had a memorable experience. Now this is exactly why my H.O.T Dairy Queen is so cool. Your fan and customer,Juan L.G

CanyonLake, Texas
We ate at the Canyon Lake Dairy Queen three days in a row at lunch time August 11,12 and 13.with our grand children. The manager, Travis Kenway, was absolutely outstanding. He was courteous to each customer, had a smile on his face at all times, checked with the customers each time to see if their was correct and satisfactory. He was training a new employee and he was considerate, very helpful in his suggestions as to what to do, praised the employee when he/she did something well and costructive when the employee needed improvement. He never raised his voice, but was always pleasant and helpful. He was very young by our standards, but he showed a great deal of maturity. Suggest Dairy Queen Management look at this young man for promotion and as an example of what all managers should aspire to being. Sorry, I am just getting this to all, but we have been busy.

Cant believe the ignorance and rudeness of three female employees!
We order DQ icecream cakes for our childrens birthdays. This year we just happend to be in Coshocton and stopped to order the cake from that store. That was the first and last time we or as many of our friends that we can tell will ever be in there. The two girls and one woman that were at the counter had no clue as to what they were doing! And told us to come back some other time to place a order! And acted as if we were bothering them with our questions. We made a mistake by stopping there. Just have to go back to the Frazeysburg Ohio store were the know how to treat a customer.

Like shooting fish in a barrel
Utterly tasteless! Sends a totally sexist message! Tells girls it's ok to use boys for gifts. What has happened to the innocence of childhood?
Will not go to DQ because of their apparent low standards of moral character and will encourage friends and fellow church members to stop going until DQ cleans up its advertising.

unfreindly and rude
My husband and I had just come from an early halloween party and thought we would stop for some eats at the D.Q. in Bluffton,IN. THe manger had already took all of the pop dispenser off to soak, and was in the process of turning off all the lights and locking doors at ten til eight. The were no public bathrooms and no posted hours. Cause if I had known it was that close to closing I would have went on home. We have never been made to feel that unwanted anywhere before. I could even hear the shift manager talking about us while qwe standing inside waiting for our stuff. Then when we tired to leave we had to ask how to unlock the door so we could even get out. I will never go back to that D.Q. ever again.

re: Ex - D.Q manager
I am an ex-manager of a D.Q located in Parkersburg area,I have reviewed some of the comments customers made and the one that stuck out the most was the dirtyness of the heath, ohio store.I cant imagine as a manager you would let your store go to hell,My boss and district manager B.Cline would never go for a dirty store you just wouldnt have a job. Well my point is maybe D.Q needs to re-evaluate their management staff.Needless to say I loved working for B.CLINE & Owners {not named}. D.Shelton

I just wanted to leave
On 9/8/07 I was at Camden,Delaware drive thru after very bad or maybe it would be better if I said no service I asked if the car in front of me could be pulled up so I can leave. The girl at the window said I need to come in an speak to the manager. I get out of my car to talk to him and he tells me to wait he's not going to move the car for me. What he does instead is tell me he is going to call the police if I don't leave I told him what do you think I'm tring to do. So I go back to sit in my car to wait so I can leave. I then ask my girlfriend to go in an ask for the custmer sevice number and the manager slams the door in her face. About 10 mins later here comes the cop walking up the drive thru asking me whats going on. I tell him they won't let me leave. After about 20 mins and the wrost service ever the car in front of me leaves and I can go home and call my lawyer.

current waffle bowl/sundae commercials
i think your new commercials are in very bad taste-why do we need sexually oriented commercials to sell ice cream. My grandkids had questions- I just love trying to explain this kind of stuff til they are ready. I will not eat at a dairy queen until you get a decent commercial and I sure am passing it around to all my co-workers, family and friends.

Your new Dairy Queen Ad
I think your product is very good. I think your new advertisments are bad, they are sex orientated, not in good taste for kids who do not understand the undertones between the ice cream and the cone..Please lets get back to something not so suggestive

Owner of the DQ cutting in line to get his order before others
We were in the drive through line getting three Blizzards after a long hot day of baseball. I placed our order and as I moved forward a car came around on the side and cut in front of me and got in line. Well I thought at first that maybe something had happen so I waited. Prior to getting to the window the car in question had a young girl about 16 get out of the car and go into the store. Then when they got to the window they started giving the person at the window their order. That is when I got out of the car and confronted the driver and the person taking the order. The guy in the car said he was the owner and was dropping his kid off at work and that he would be driving back around to pick up his order. I could not believe it. How rude! I let him have it and I will tell everyone I know to stay away from a store where even the owner has no sense of the customer. He was a jerk!

Should be Ashamed
we went to the dairy queen in itasca, texas, over the weekend for an ice cream sundae. we waited in line while the clerk waited on other people for about 10 minutes -- well in that 10 minutes i saw enough to make me leave -- there was one person working and three others standing by -- one girl rubbed on her hair and face enough to make me sick -- the other two were just standing around acting silly -- we won't be going there again! dairy queen should take their name away -- they surely wouldn't want to be associated with them -- it was dirty as well

Weekend in Kill Devil Hills, NC
Three of us purchased hotdogs and all ended up in the bathroom for two days with intestinal problems. Won't be eating there again, or any other DQ after this experience. Calling health dept tomorrow.

Inadequacy of the 'servers' at the local DQ Grill & Chill -
As is our wont, we frequently stop at this "Grill & Chill" by DQ
for eats, or maybe just a cone. Yesterday, 05/15/07, we tried for
a cone. Unfortunately, a bus load of youngsters from a local church
had just arrived before us, and they each were getting an ice cream
cone; about 225!! It seems that ours could have been intermingled, or that another ice cream spout could have been used for a second. It
took away the complete enjoyment of ourcone. I waited for a full
ten minutes to be served. Otherwise, we quite enjoy our Chill & Grill.
