A four-year veteran of DeviantArt, it's hands down my favorite website. Sharing art is very simple and lots of fun. The downside? It's a nest of vipers for viruses. Any time I go to DeviantArt and spend a lot of time there, I'm lucky to walk away with AT LEAST one virus. Their ads are not controlled at all. Another downside? The admins aren't much help in solving the problem. They ask you to report the ad AFTER you've caught the virus (who is actually paying enough attention to these ads? How can you even know which ad gave you the virus?) In general the admins are very rude. The site is great and I recommend it to anyone; just avoid the forums, because if the mods are having a bad day, they'll surely take it out on you.

Deviantart does not allow account deletion. They also do not take into account deviation titles and their submission categories.

If you are prepared to log in and see child pornography on their main page every once in a while, then by all means, go ahead and create an account.

i think deviant art is cool you can express your feelings and emotions through their art work or poem or some sort of literature. the members can also just show what they have and show it off and just show people their art work and show what they love doing. at the same time it is also bad that some people just steal your artwork and say its theirs or just get people down by saying such nonsense i think those people should be banned from being a member of that site. however saying that the fellow deviants make them feel better by commenting to them and saying that this person was stupid or this or that. anyway i think that deviant art also helps in some way by how other deviant members do constructive criticizm which helps the member improve on their art work. anyway i think that deviant art is overall a good website =)

I highly recommend this site. Can't go wrong with this one.
