I ordered 3 bridesmaids dresses from dressesforus for my wedding.The actual dresses I fell in love with while searching the web as they suited my vintage style wedding. Each dress cost me €200, in total €600. When my dresses arrived I was out of the country for another wedding. When I got home and saw my dresses I was initially disappointed as they were all creasedwq but when two of my three bridesmaids tried them on I thought they were lovely on them. They are both a small UK size 8. However when my 3rd bridesmaid tried on hers it was at least two sizes too small for her. I emailed dressesforus straight away after her trying it on to see if I could exchange for a larger size. They told me that I cannot exchange the dress as I am over the time frame of 2 days. I mean two days for exchange is ridiculous. I have never heard of this in my life.
I emailed them in a panic practically begging them to exchange the dress. However they did say I could get a yard of material for an extra 50 dollars if I wanted to alter the dress. My bridesmaid brought the dress to a dress maker yesterday who informed her that there is no possible way the dress can be altered to fit her as there is a lot of pleating and the stitches are all machine done.
So now I am stuck with 3 dresses I paid €600 for and really do not know what to do. I really could not believe that they did not make a bigger size as the dress I got was only to fit a uk 12.
I am never going to buy another thing from the internet.

I shop online for the last five years quite a lot and I've never had such an awful experience from an online store before. Clearly they're amateurs who can't be trusted. I ordered a dress from them and it arrived within a week. The dress was okayish but wasn't very well tailored. Since I wanted it for a formal occasion I needed a dress to fit me perfectly. I'm UK size 10 and the dress made me look at least one size bigger. Getting a refund was out of the question since their policy says they get to keep 30% of the original price, while when exchanging the dress with another one they only get to keep 15%. So within 5 days I send them an email wanting to return the dress I bought and get a different design instead. They emailed me back saying that I needed to take a photo of me with the dress to make sure I indeed didn't look okay in it to be convinced..! I mean, are they in their right minds?!! But then, it gets better cause they send me a new email saying that I had only 2 days to change my mind about the dress I ordered and now I'm too late so, NO they will not accept my return. 5 days people!! Which other store doesn't accept a return after 5 days time??
Apparently they don't like to keep their customers. Will never shop from them again!
