Somehow I inadvertently clicked on something that subscribed me while surfing on my new mobile phone. Charges didn't show up until now (Jan 2012) and I had two months of charges. I NEVER used the service and still got charged for the "subscription" to the service. I texted STOP! and it still didn't cancel. Finally texted STOP to them and the service was cancelled. Talked to rep and he stated that I signed up and that is what I was paying for. Even if I didn't use it -- REALLY???!!! I am filing a complaint with the FCC and Better Business Bureau. They should NOT be allowed to get away with this.

My 13 old downloaded something or other on the computer. Now admittedly, it was my son's fault but he is a minor. I called them to talk about the account that was signed up for on 11/25 and cancelled on 11/25. They refused to refund any part of it. It took over 20 minutes and threats of a class action lawsuit due to the fact that, by law, a minor is not able to enter into, nor be held financially responsible for a contract before they agreed to refund any money. They claim I will be receiving a check within 3-4 weeks. We'll see...

I too was just ripped off by flycell.com! I was looking for ringtones and it sent me a pin number to get started with the acct set up and after putting in the pin it shows you will now be charged $19.99 a month. I immediately called and the customer service said they could not refund me, as soon I said I wonder what the better business bureau has on flycell.com,then she said OK I will be able to refund your money. I called ATT after I hung up with them and they took care of it for me. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR EVEN AN ACCT WITH THEM!!

After being a victimized by Flycell I emailed them regarding the charges to my cell phone, only to receive an automated email stating the charges I agreed to. Here is my email response to Flycell:
Do not insult me with your manipulative verbiage, you will not receive one penny from me. You offer a free IQ test, and in order to get the results you are prompted to submit your cell number as a means to receive the test results. Once you had my cell number you then send a text message with a 4 digit code stating to enter this code and text it back to you for the sole purpose of obtaining the results from the lengthy IQ test taken. The results were NEVER PROVIDED!!! You then send another text stating that the code has now activated an account in which I was billed $19.99 per month! I have contacted my cell phone provider and they have credited all charges as well as blocked you from my account. I am one person that does NOT tolerate injustice, and companies that prey on innocent people at any expense just to make a buck, using people as pawns for your own greed!

Call AT&T NOW and get this removed and blocked. The Customer Representative I talked to was very helpful and he disabled the service and refunded the money FlyCell STOLE from me.

IQ Quiz is a rip off quiz it signed me up for a $19.95 for ClubPack Flycell.com 69999. The Quiz said that they sent me a pin number 8126 so I could receive my score but it really was to sign me up for a $19.95 monthly package I had no use for. I called AT&T and they credited my account and blocked the charge. I also sent a "Stop Club" text to 69999. I hope it's resolved. Guess my IQ isn't so great.

I am MAD with them, I had been looking for a certain song, and had found a link to them on youtube, advertising the "free song", they advertised as being a "christian" website. However once I was stupid enough to put in my phone number. it took me to flycell.com..
NOT only did it NOT have my song that it claimed to have had but it automatically charged me even thou I didn't "download" any songs.. Basically and in reality stealing my money.
I called right away, and the first person I spoke to was nice, and said they would cancell my account and refund my money right away..

After a couple weeks I noticed I hadn't gotten my refund and I called again MAD that I hadn't gotten my money... The man who could BARELY speak English and was irritating calling me "mam" said it would take 4 weeks to get my money back..THIS made me mad, and I told him I was told I would get it right away. He told me that they dont know why I was told quickly cause it took 4 weeks to get...

I called 4 and a half weeks later DEMANDING to get my money back, he told me (again calling me mam), that it took 5 weeks to process my refund (thou they took my money right off the bat) I was absoutely furious with this company. Again demanding my money right now/ that week.

I FINALLY got my 9.99 refun today.. about 6 weeks after I cancelled... I'm in the process of buying a home, THOUSANDS of dollars, and it takes the same amount of time to close on a home as to get a refund from this company.

I was a idiot and had paid my cell phone online without seeing the stupid ad on bill from them, other wise I would of told tmobile to NOT pay them.

I am going to report them to the Better Business, and going to ask what it takes to do a class action law suite against them, especially since many of you seem to have lost money.. Almost every review on here is 100% accurate. Flycell pops up on other ringtone websites and tricks you into filling out their form, which they claim is authorizing them to charge your phone. I got a text message from them saying I subscribed to something for $9.99. I cancelled it RIGHT AWAY!!! Then I get my cell phone bill and there is a charge on there from them. I called "customer service", which, of course is in India, and was rudely told that they would not give me a credit. (I called TWICE, talked to 2 different people, and got the same ignorant, hostile attitude). I pointed out that it was cancelled within minutes (if not the SAME minute) that I subscribed. They didn't care. They refused to refund my money. I told them that they stole my money... they don't listen to you, all they do is talk over you and rudely tell you "too bad". This is an absolute rip-off!!!

a few weeks ago my sister took an iq test off facebook and it linked her to this site, and she typed in my phone number, now my phone bill has charges from flycell for 19.95 !!! do not go on this site or link to this site. to stop this text STOP to 69999. !!! its a rip off !!!

flycell.com is the worst site i have ever visited. DO NOT VISIT THIS SITE. i went there to see if i could get free ringtones. i entered my number and then realized i should not have. i txted stop to them for all the subscriptions. one of them came back and said i had no active subscriptions. then it said my suvscription had been successfully cancelled. i would encourage everyone to take action against these theives that call themselves a company. if i am charged for this i will be furious.WORST SITE EVER!

I noticed a $19.99 charge on my phone bill. I called AT&T and asked what it was about and they told me it was a third party company called Flycell. I have never heard of Flycell and the only downloads I've ever done on my phone are ringtones through AT&T. I called Flycell myself and spoke with a rep. I asked her why I was charged and she responded with "your mobile phone agreed to the subscription." This didn't make any sense to me since I DID NOT approve the subscription. She said that I must have visited their website and typed in my phone # and I told her it was impossible that happened because today to get their phone # was the first time I visited their website, I don't even know what FLYCELL is? I told her that they must have pop-ups when you visit other sites since that could be the only way I was ever on their website and she said yes they do and they have many affiliates where they show up on other sites. I demanded a refund and she refused, I asked to speak with a manager and she said I would have to call back. I told her that thousands and thousands of people are talking about what they do online. I guess there is nothing more I can do but I feel very taken advantage of!

I joined facebook 2 months ago and took a quiz. Flycell started charging 19.99 a month. Called At&t and they took care of it quick! I was credited back for the 2 months on the spot and the got it cancelled in seconds! They are also going to do a review on the 12th of next month to make sure I am not charged from that company again! LOVE MY PROVIDER! AT&T ROCKS!! So does the iphone!!

My graddaughter took an IQ test on Facebook that led to signing up for a free Flycell ringtone. Of course, being on Facebook, she felt comfortable and unsuspecting giving her cell number. A few minutes later, she received a text stating she had been charged 19.95. She panicked and handed me the phone. I immediately texted back a cancellation text. The account was cancelled in less than 3 minutes. Now, Flycell refuses to return that money. This company is a disgrace and I am pressuring Facebook to ban those IQ test ads. Do not be suckered in. Flycell is a rip-off.

Then explain to me this. I finally decided to add Texting to my plan and wanted some different ringtones. I asked my friends where they went to get their ringtones and not get charged with some hidden fee. They all pointed me to Myxer.com. I downloaded 1 ringtone and two days later, I get a text from Flycell saying that I've been charged $9.99. I called Verizon and they were nice enough to remove this from my bill. Of course not all representatives are caring enough to prove such a service. You could cross paths with this douche below me.

So I read your posts and can any of you show where it said free or that it was a free month or all the other claims? I work customer service for a wireless phone company and hear the same stuff everyday. "I didnt do it my cat did it blah blah blah". Honestly, you went onto the internet and googled free ringtones. when you do that the return search is not free ringtones but rather free+ringtones. the ads for these companies have the price on it. just because you didnt take the time to read dont blame everyone else. if people would just take responsibilities for their actions the economy wouldnt be in the shape it is in either

I also had this charge on my verizon bill. I absolutlely never signed up for this. I don't even know how text or care to. After reading stories on web about troubles getting verizon to reverse charges I was a little concerned that I also would have a difficult time. I was relieved when I called verizon that the CSR walked me through unsuscribing as well as crediting out 2 months of service. The guy also credited out 2 $25 activation charges on 2 new lines that I recently added that verizon failed to tell me about when i added the lines. Way to go verizon.

Sad to say my 13yr old texted a 69999 1 time and ever since I've been paying 9.95 a month and I have called verizone and received the # (800 580 0017) to call but all I get is a recording so after trying 10 times and waiting on hold for 1 hour I decided to go on line, like the recording instruct me since theres no live person to talk to. Well I've been looking and looking for a tab on Flycells web site to unsuscribe and haven't seen 1 yet...This is a outrage. Hey ya'll aren't alone. This stupid idiot company ripped me off. I had to pay them twice though. I called the idiots and got some person overseas some where. Anyway, they charge me the 9.99 and I was not aware I signed up at all. I admit it, I did sign up, but the difference is, I sent an unsubscribe text message 3 times and finally got off of it. if they try and charge me next month, Virgin Mobile said they will take care of it.

Flycell told me that is I sent them proof in the form of a fax, they would give me my money back. I proved to them that I unsubscribed 3 times and guess what? Yep ya'll guessed it, they still kept my money. They try this again, I will take them to small claims court. This needs to be done to drag their name through the mud.

Lastly, anyone who reads this beware of Flycell, or you could be next.

I fell into the deceptive trap of signing up for what I thought was a free ring tone. 6 Months later I realized Flycell has been charging me $9.99/month, a cost hidden in my cell phone bill. I have never once used the service after getting the initial ring tone. Verizon did credit one month but would do nothing else. Because of this Verizon has a new policy allowing customers to block text companies like Flycell. I spoke with a Flycell customer service rep. in India who said she could do nothing. Verizon users cend service by texting "STOP" TO # 6999. Send complaints to Justin at Flycell, 120 Broadway, 15th Floor, NY, NY 10271. Good luck with this joke of a company.

somebody please help me! i dont even know how i started getting these text messeges they just started and i have one of those celll phones where you have to buy the minutes and this is useing all my minutes i had to get $60.00 worth of cards just this week. And i have a grandbabyt due any time and if these keeps up i will miss that very important call sombody please help me

Some how I got on to this flycell rip off site. Just called ATT (800)331-0500 and was immediately unsubscribed plus was given credit for the two months I was stuck with this crap. I also got a text message from flycell 30 seconds after getting off the phone with ATT, saying they were sorry to see me go. Bet they are and bet they will be sad to see others go also. Call you provider and get this off your phone!

The same thing has happened to me that has happened to everyone else! This is wrong!! What can we do to prevent this from happening? There shuoldn't be anything like this allowed and I think something should be done about this! They have no way of contacting them to talk to a real person.

My dad got suckered into this, but he never got the ringtone he tried to download. I called Sprint (we have a family plan) and they credited my account and blocked all third party companies from charging us. We'll see if that works...

I recieved a email stating free ringtones at no charge. I entered my cell number on the website. (I HAVE A GO PHONE *PREPAID*) As soon as I entered my number my phone was charged $9.99. They also kept sending me text messages which cost me money. The next month I was charged another $9.99. I couldn't take it anymore so I emailed flycell and told them to cancel me from anything from the company. I explained to them about the email that said (no charge). The said that they didn't offer any free ringtones and for me to send that email to them so I could get a refund. It has been a week since I emailed them back and I haven't heard anything from them yet. Do not get scammed from these people.
