Incompetent or Dishonest?
I placed an order for a single item at the beginning of January. They replied promptly saying delivery would take 1-2 days. I began to chase 5 days later. They blamed their warehouse, the couriers, the manufacturers, Old Uncle Tom Cobbly and all before I ran out of patience and cancelled the order. They promised a refund with 7 to 10 days, but over 3 weeks later I am still waiting. Again they are blaming everybody but themselves for the delay. Thank goodness I paid by credit card because the credit card company is now chasing the refund on my behalf.
I see some people have had a good experience but my advice is if you want to risk using this company pay by credit card.

Do not use these cowboys
Let this be a warning to anyone who is thinking about using this company,
STEER WELL CLEAR
I found a summerhouse on their website which looked really nice, the website promises a 1-28 day delivery which I thought was ok so I placed my order.
They took the money form my account almost instantly and I got an email confirming they had taken payment.
One month later I hadn’t heard from them so I tried to call. No one answered. I did this several times then emailed them.
The response was "sorry there has been a delay but it is coming in the next week"
Another month passes by, I phone again and again no answer so I email again.
The response again is sorry there has been a hold up at the factory in Lithuania but it is on its way.
Almost a month later I phone again and this time get through to a chap who says it is now in their warehouse and I can schedule the delivery date. I book two days off work for the delivery. Delivery day one comes and I phone the delivery company who promise it is on route to me. I then get a call back telling me the truck has broken down so they are sending a differnet truck to off load onto so they can complete the delivery. An hour later i get another call to say it now won’t be coming today as the truck has returned to the warehouse, but they promise it will be with me at 09:00 the day after.
I call the delivery company at 08:30 the next morning who promise it is only 20 minutes away from me. An hour later I call them again only to be told "by the same person" it is now half an hour away. An hour later I call yet again and the the same person now admit's they don’t know where it is but will get the driver to call me. The summer house finally arrived at 13:00 and thankfully all appears to be present and correct without much damage.
This company don’t seem to care about their customers and the people they use to sort deliveries out are a joke.
I certainly won’t be using them again and I will warn anyone I can about the experience I had.

Worst customer services ever - read below
"Worst customer services ever and won't give me my money back"
1. Delivery slow/non existent. The website said my item would be delivered in 1-7 days. A week later a received a letter saying there were 'problems' and the delivery would be delayed. After numerous phone calls to find out when I might expect my item, phoning back after a week etc, the best they could do was 'maybe in a couple of weeks'.
2. Could not provide details about item. I required the footprint measurements so the arbour could be concreted in. After a lot of emailing, got some measurements but ranged from wildly wrong (legs are 70cm squared) to ridiculous (telling me the footprint size which was actually the overall size, including large overhangs). I don't think they have ever seen this item.
3. WON'T GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. After the above two points, I cancelled the order and the confirmed they would refund me in 7-10 working days. This is a month later and I am still waiting for my money back. This is fradulent.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you expect any kind of customer services.

very good service
My order arrived safe and sound about 1.30 this afternoon. I am sure my neighbours will be envious when they see them, so I will be more than happy to tell them where I purchased them!

Delighted with the service, friendly and polite, and fast delivery.
Couldn't have asked for any greater service, best I've received of any internet company in the last few years. Ordered a Karcher pressure washer on Thursday of last week, received delivery the next morning on the Friday! Incredible! Free delivery as well. Staff very helpful in getting the right pressure washer for my needs to before I placed the order. Have placed another order with them today for a few features for my garden, so hope all goes well again! Would recommend so far.

Customer Service
Order a wooden garage 3rd Jan, received notification by email about my order. That all seemed fine. They took receipt of my money the very next day. I have waited the 28 days they quoted for delivery. Now want to know where my order is. Emailed, no response, telephoned had a response from someone who sounded like he couldn't be bothered and who said he'd check with the warehouse and ring me back. Haven't received a call as yet. Will keep you informed of the progress!!!

Incredibly slow delivery
I ordered a present for my godson on the 2nd November, with an expected delivery period of 2 days. So far it's been 23 days and it still hasn't been delivered. Customer services didn't answer the phone, but they have responded to e-mails. They are courteous and tell me that their warehouse reported problems with the supplier and it should be delivered later this week. Courtesy is all very well, but if they had kept me well informed I would have been able to arrange for an alternative purchase.

Great Service for an Average Price
After scouring the web for the right shed I came across gardeners-world.net, the price was a little bit more expensive than elsewhere but they stated they could deliver it about a week earlier than anyone else.
Unfortunately I was notified a few days earlier they no longer had this shed available, I gave them a call looking to get my money back and instead the representative took me through a variety of other sheds to find one perfect for my needs. They where constantly polite and interested in what I wanted and in the end found a shed better than the first. He then emailed over the plans there and then to help me plan the construction site.
My overall experience has been wonderful, I may have paid a bit more but for the service I have received I would happily do so again.

Steer well clear
I ordered a set of garden furniture 2 weeks ago. Despite being told twice over the past week that all of the items in my order are in stock, the order has been processed and is ready to be shipped, I subsequently received an email telling me that one of the items is actually out of stock with a suggestion of an alternative (which didn;t match the other items ordered). As the order was already late (some of the items were supposed ot have turnaround time of 5-7 days)and now it was clear that i had been mislead from the beginning about the status of the order, I decided to cancel the order by email (as requested). I have had no reply to that email to confirm that it has been received despite calling a couple of times to chase it up and being reasured that they would get on to it. it is my suspicion that this company is in some sort of finanacial trouble as this is clearly not the behaviour of a reputable reliable company. I would steer well clear. I will update when / if this situation gets resolved.

Avold at all costs

We ordered a parasol through Gardeners-world.net.
This arrived in a well wrapped parcel which we did not open until 10 days after delivery.
When we opened it we realised the parasol had got wet in their warehouse and was stained with mould. When we contacted Gardeners-world.net we were told that we had made the parasol mouldy !!!??? and that the item had been shipped in good condition.
After several emails and phone calls Gardeners-world.net got nasty on the phone and were very rude and threatening. Avoid at all costs.

Broken furniture and Driver fails to turn up
We have recently spent over £600 on a garden table, chairs and parasol base. The delivery driver really didn't want to help with unloading and only grudgingly helped my wife. On unpacking we discovered a huge crack in the table and the arm of one of the chairs was broken. We called G-World at the weekend and spoke to a sales operative. Nobody called us back so we called again on Wednesday and they said they had no record of our call. We arranged for a swap of the chair and table to be delivered last Friday - my wife stayed in all day but the delivery didn't turned up. She called and was told not to worry, it would turn up but it never did. Today we opened the parasol base box and discovered one of the adjustable feet had broken off. We have photos of all of this. All we want to do now is get a 100% refund - we have no faith in the company, the product, and especially the delivery service (that may have caused all 3 problems). We will ask for a full refund on Monday and keep you all posted, but right now - zero points for customer service and for product delivery.
