Missing Reviews
For the record... in the little over 1 year that XOM has been live, there have been 27295 reviews posted as of the time I am writing this. Of those, 2557 reviews (almost 10%) have been removed because they were vulgar, inappropriate, gibberish, posted on the wrong page, inaccurate, or well various other reasons. And yes, I just removed 3 more posts from this page because they were not reviews, they were attacks.

Missing Reviews
You're only half right Gerry. Spam gets removed regularly, from any listing IF you complain long enough. Negative reviews are only removed from listings the admins have a personal interest in, like this one. Try getting a negative review removed from your sites page. They won't do it even if the review is a flat out lie and you can prove it. Yet I also have noticed numerous negative reviews "disappearing" from this listing.

I've also been using XOM for a few months as well. But I can tell you reviews are removed from other listings as well, not just from this one. I think these guys are doing a good job, there is hardly any spam, and if spam is posted it usually gets removed within a couple days.

I'm not a customer of HostNow but they are obviously on the job! Thank you HostNow for removing the vulgar postings on the page set up for www.weirdtown.com. It is likely you will now be at war with the very people I was complaining about in my post.

Flaming Reviews
I would like to respond to the obvious flaming reviews posted about our company.

Overpriced? Hmmm... Bill, all of our prices are in Canadian Dollars, not USD. I have seen several providers that charge the same or more in US dollars for Windows Hosting. Sure, you can get Linux hosting pretty much anywhere for $8/ month and be hosted on a server with 1000 other sites, but that is not the kind of service we provide.

Decpetive? That is an utter lie... Your IP shows you are from Boston, we have never had a client from Boston. Idiot. If you were to ask ANY of our clients, we have NEVER charged a client for any overages.

Unimpressive... Your IP shows you are from the Asia Pacific Network. And well, considering all of our customers are in North America, you are obviously lying as well.

Do you guys have nothing better to do with your time, than to flame legitimate companies?

Overpriced
Even if they do provide the services they claim to, there are countless of reliable providers available who will do the same thing for $8 a month.

Unimpressive
I tried their service and was a little unimpressed. My current provider offers much more for less money. My experience with HostNow was mixed, some good some not so good. I think the not so good outweighed the good though.

Incredible Service
Having used Hostnow for many years, I can honestly say that they are fabulous! Their customer service is incredible, especially considering their size. Steve always gets back to me within a day and never makes me feel stupid! I always recommend Hostnow to my friends and clients. It also remains one of the best deals on the internet.
