Contact us for a free demo before you judge based on some anonymous postings here
Hi,
My name is Ryan Petersen and I'm the CEO of Import Genius. I felt the need to post a response to the libelous attacks posted by anonymous commenters here.
We are a legitimate business that uses the web to provide easy, searchable access to public records from U.S. Customs. The bill of lading for all U.S. ocean freight is a public record in this country, and our company has managed to index more than 40 million of these documents in our database. That means you get near-real time access to information on all the goods being imported into this country. It's an incredibly valuable store of verified information for the international trade community.
We have been subject to attack online by a variety of disgruntled importers who are not happy to have information on their imports made available online. However, these are public records that we have every right to publish. Upon realizing this, these importers have turned to attacking us anonymously in the comments of various blogs and public forums.
I understand where they are coming from, however, you should not be swayed by their opinion. Instead, give us a call and arrange a live demo so you can see for yourself: 888-843-0272.
As for the last commenter, the Datamyne is a competitor that offers a similar service for 2-3x as much money. At first I was surprised they would stoop to the level of attacking us like this, but its a pattern their web marketing people have repeated across the web.
I would recommend that you judge for yourself, do a live demo with both companies and see if they are worth the extra money. I'm confident you'll make the right decision for your business, either way.
If you have any questions, please contact us anytime.
