I recently placed request for health insurance quote from insure.com; received calls from many agents that sounded like they were from boiler rooms, and very, very high pressure. Go to www.ehealth.com, much, much better.

Insure.com use to be owned by Life Quotes and was a decent operation. Insure.com is now owned by QuinStreet a company that not only send unsolicited email on behalf of major companies but uses insure.com as a way to aggregagate leads to resell them.

term4sale dott com and YourLifeSolution dott com are better services, also someone said insure.com is better than AQ and Matrix, this is hardly true anymore

I got instant quotes and an attentive, licensed agent called me to offer advice and assistance, exactly as the their privacy notice and website disclosure showed me before I got the quotes. I also liked the comparison of 25 leading life companies, which is way more that SelectQuote, Accuquote or Matrix Direct offered me. I saw a huge price savings on my insurance.

This is a sweatshop operation in Darien, IL. Company operates under poor business practices and once you submit your info you will receive numerous unsolicited calls and emails. Check out Selectquote, Matrix Direct or Accuquote instead.

I requested a quote and it was a pretty good deal. The broker gave me his phone #s and a big speal about"Call me any time with all your questions because I will be there for you." He transferred be to the person to do the application. I asked the lady if any money would be drafted from my account before the 6th of the month because I don't get paid until then. She said no I don't think so. I asked if the $5000 deductible was individual or family. It was family according to her. All of this took place on the 28th. My account was drafted for the full premium on the 30th, not the 6th like I asked. Now I have $120 worth of overdraft charges. Also there was an extra $40 taken out for what I did not know. I called the insurance company-they said it was the brokers responsibility. I called the broker(guy who said I'll be there) and left 2 voicemails-no reply, called his superior and left 2 voicemails, he finally called back and left a message on my machine. I called him again and left voicemails, eventually I got ahold of him and he said he would check into it and call me back in an hour. That was over a week ago and at least 10 more voicemails. Got ahold of another lady-he has been so busy with people from the head office, but I will make sure he calls you today-still waiting a day and a half later. If you want someone to "be there for you" don't use Insure.com
