Very Unreliable - Their Advertisers Should be Notified
I have not been able to access or log in to my mail.com e-mail account since May 24, 2011. I have been a loyal user of Mail.com for many years and have gone through several changes and upgrades. Now I can not log in. I have called and e-mailed. The technicians will not talk to me and my incoming e-mails have bounced back. I am very frustrated because I have a large amount of information that I can not get to.

When I try to log in it says the e-mail and password combination is not correct. I have not changed anything. I did try to change the password to see if it would correct the situation but I was unable to do so. I called the help line and they said they could not help. I need my account for business purposes and it is very important

I have followed all of their instructions and nothing works.

All of their advertisers should be notified of how bad they are so they can put pressure on them to take care of their users.

BEWARE OF MAIL.COM, AVIOD MAIL.COM AT ALL COST!!
BEWARE OF MAIL.COM, AVIOD MAIL.COM AT ALL COST!! I have only started using Mail.com about 2 weeks ago. I noticed after several days I had a great deal of trouble logging in, however I put up with it due to the fact I really wanted an alternative to the CIA owned and operated Google and their free Gmail email service. Using Mail.com was a big mistake. As of 4/7/2011 I have been completely unable to login for two days. What makes this situation worse is that I have sent out a number of resumes using my new Mail.com email address. I now have no way of knowing if prospective employers have responded to me. I did an internet search after the fact to discover that this is a major ongoing problem with Mail.com that they have yet to do anything about. Many other people are having the same problem. Be wise and learn from the mistakes of other people and avoid Mail.com.

Thank You,
AD

I wonder how much mail.com pays Brian? It is so bad and I am losing business by the second they are offline. How can they call themselves the best personalised e-mail service?

Not Reliable
I have had accounts since the very beginning. Never attempt to log in with the belief that your service will be available! I have been without service multiple times for as long as 4-5 days. Nothing can be worse than having important information than you need to access and being absolutely helpless to do so. Use Mail.com as your backup account...Never your primary one!

I've used mail.com for nearly 4 years, and love it. It is very reliable and web-based so it is accessible from anywhere.
