I just started using Freewebs.com and its terribly slow i.e. it doesnt load the page that fast.

First, I've been a freewebs user for almost 4 years and didn't have a problem until now. I get friendly techsupport however they are not helpful. Sometimes I feel like they don't even READ my emails correctly and sometimes they don't make sense. Here are some reasons why I dislike the site:

1) Terrible support. They answer but their answers are not helpful at all. I told them my blog box (where I type in my blog) is overlapping the options on the bottom and that there's a javascript error and I cannnot delete, edit entries or comments. I even gave them a screenshot on the overlapping with the "Lorem Ipsum" Their response was simliar to this: "Our blog works with IE6+ and with Firefox. If you have issues with your blogs, make sure you delete the ones you copy and pasted information in because they may have errors. Also, we recommend you to download FireFox. You can get it by clicking on this link"

Ok.. Well you just said it works with IE6+, I happen to use IE7 so how can they recommend me to download FireFox? And also, they said to delete the entries that cause errors. First of, I don't have time to copy and paste like they said .. "We assumed you copied and pasted." And how can I delete any entries if I clearly said I CANNOT??

2) The terrible file limit and bandwidth. The paid packages are a lot more overpriced. You could register domain and get hosting A LOT cheaper in other places.

3) "A link back to freewebs.com must be on your page".. Ok well why is this neccesary? There's a URL bar, and a status bar that says "FreeWebs.com"

4) Their ads. My site manager page was screwed up because the huge ads on the right, left and top. Now I have a huge white space in the middle of the page.

5) Sometimes, after uploading a few files, everything stops loading, and I have to close the window, and open Freewebs again and then re-login.

I happen to know HTML and I am not a beginner, however I found Freewebs very easy to use until now, that they don't want to help me solve my problems on the site. I would not recommend this to anyone anymore. This site used to be very smooth until now.

This site is fantastic. Very easy for me to use because I dont know too much about site building. They just give you all these cool things you can use to create your page.
