I was introduced to the Mettler Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon wine by friends of mine. Since it was a name I had not heard of, I was admittedly, skeptical. Boy was I plesantly surpirsed! The wine had plenty of fruit, was smooth and went fabulously with dinner. I later looked up the winery on line (mettlerwine.com), read up on their story, and bought a bottle of thier Petite Sirah. I took the wine to another friends house and thuroughly enjoyed it. I would recommend Mettler wines to anyone in search of terrific red wines that aren't too expensive.
