Started out great. Recently, points not being added and no response from Customer Service. I always bought from the link at MyPoints only to be told later that the vendor no longer participated and points were denied. Now owed 1,000 points for item purchased thru Walmart...no response. Just want my points so I can close my account.

I have been with My Points for over 12 years. Without warning I click on an email link and it takes me to an Account Closed page. I have also learned that everyone that signed up from my recommendation has had their accounts closed. Most of them had enough points to redeem for $25-50 cards. I had 1300 points. I thought it was a good company, but I guess the economic down-turn has changed their business decisions. I'll no longer recommend them.

Just a heads up, mypoints has been cancelling a lot of accounts without warning. They recently cancelled mine with no warning and no explanation. I emailed them 3 times and they will only reply with a form email. I had close to 3000 points and they are GONE! After it happened, I googled closed mypoints account and found that it is happening to a lot of people. It seems like they are claiming people have violated terms of service but conveniently refusing to say what they have done. It also seems like 3000 points is the "magic number" for getting your account cancelled. Beware Mypoints!

I have cashed out $150 worth of gift cards in a little more than a year. I should be cashing out another $50 card in a month or so. they have always paid, and I have never been ripped off with them. Great site

I've been a member with MyPoints since 2004, and think it's the best shopping rewards programs. I don't know about the previous reviewers but I haven't had a problem with MyPoints other than the turn around time for points to be posted (can take 4 weeks or more) and rewards to be sent out (2-3 weeks). Also like to point out my account was inactive for about a year, didn't go on MyPoints at all, and they still kept my account open. I've earned over 18000 points from shopping through them and those points have gone towards gift cards to stores including Bloomingdales (at least 2 were $50 worth each amd I got them at different times). If you don't mind waiting for the turn around I highly reccommend MyPoints. They actually reward you to use their site.

I have used them since 2001. I used to cash in my points when I got to the basic gift card level of $10 but decided to be patient this time since the more points you have the better "deals" you can get from their gift cards. So once I got to 14,000 they shut down my account FOR NO REASON! I think they just like to get the $$ from you clicking on their sponsors and shut you down! Don't even bother, I wasted SO much time accumulating 14,000 points and they won't even re-active my account when I e-mailed them. They told me I had multiple accounts which is completely untrue.

Mypoints has closed my account for no reason after 4 years. I did not even get a notice. I guess because I had saved up enough points for a 50.00 gift card I planned to use for my son's birthday coming up in March. I now have to pay for all that I ordered through them, they get paid and I get dumped for no reason. And there is NOTHING I can do about it! No address, No phone, NO THANKS. I won't trust any of these scammers anymore! I will be posting what they did every chance I get to warn others.

I was a member of this site for 3 years but suddenly for some reason they wrote me a terrible mail and closed my account which had almost 2500 points ready to be redeemed. The mails was really pathetic and no firm reason was given before closing my account.I think they are going out of business. Do not waste time.

WASTE OF TIME!!! I accumulated about 20,000 points, through their emails and through shopping on their site. I was going to redeem the points for $150.00 in gift cards from Bloomingdales but they froze my account. What a scam. They were paid by all of the retailers every time I shopped through mypoints.com but now when it comes time for me to receive my reward they don't pay out.
They used to be good, but I guess this is how they are operating their site now. Perhaps they are doing this because they plan to go out of business and are riding out their last days by not redeeming their members' hard earned points.
