Never in my life have I let a food delivery and human incompetence get me worked up. But tonight Kitchener, Ontario Papa John's really took the cake!

I booked my pizza order online at 8pm...a pricey as anything, but I was sold just to try it.

An hour and 25 mins later, I get a call on my cell phone. I can't understand the guy, but I think he's down stairs...so I run down to let him in...nope, not there...so i call him back...he says he's outside, I tell him i'm at the door and there i no one in sight. Honest mistake, even if my apartment was on the same street at the Papa's and 10 blocks away...so I stay on the phone with the guy, telling him every land mark in sight - Being literally 20 feet from City hall being the main one. Nope. No comprehend.

Minutes pass, and he hangs up on me in the middle of his humming and hawing and mumbling. I try calling back, no answer, tried one more time...nothing again.

I'm about to head back in when I realize my keys are on my table and my auto lock door is closed because I was chasing a delivery guy who got lost 10 blocks from his home base. (even if he was close, i would have saw him.he was no where in sight...not even on the right block.)

after 2 hours of being stuck outside, i get in to get the papa's number, i call them and get a friendly fellow who offers me bread sticks as soon as he answers the phone...

i asked him what was up with the pizza and explained what happened. (now hungry as a horse!) The guy says "he couldn't find your place, it was a bad address." - I told him i was standing in that address and on the street and didnt see him...

the guy on the phone develops a bit of an attitude and says "gimme a minute, i'll talk to the driver..."
8-10 mins pass while i'm on hold. WAY more than enough time to investigate the pizza issue.

so i hang up and call back. the same guy answers on the first ring and says "hold please" and puts me on hold. I hang up and call back...this goes on for 15 mins or so. (i was just working on principal after the 2nd time.) at one point i shouted "NOOO" when they said "hold, the guy stopped and said "what...?" and i said "wheres my pizza?" and he hung up.

FINALLY the next time i call they actually answer the phone like nothing happened with the "pappa's" phone answering speal...as if they weren't looking at the call display this time (as they were the first 30 times)

finally i ask this guy "where is the customer service papa's states they have on their site?"

he says "you know what buddy, you should have called back about your pizza 2 hours ago! don't call here again."

I will never call there again.
I went into the pizza pizza that i live right above. I should have went there in the first place. They have whole wheat crust, gluten free crust as well as crispy crust on top of their regular dough - on top of that, they have WAY more toppings and they have WAY better prices...what was I thinking trying to switch Papa John's?

trust me i love the food and have not complaints with that.my concern is my child has been with this company for almost 2 years and she states to me that she does not get a 30min break.i really thought by law that a person working 6 hours or more or more should receive a lunch break..she work 8 hours and more..she is no manager either.does not work on salary..can someone explain that to me..8 hours no break..wow..

For the last two times we ordered pizza from papa johns we was upset with the price,and the service. The last time we had troubled with not being contacted that our order was accepted. We did it over the internet. Needless to say it sat for over 30 minutes before we got it.
This time we ordered two pizza's and the chocolate treat. $4.00 for four little pastries. not worth the price. Our bill was extremely high for only ordering 1 lg.,1 md, and a choc. sweet. We will be ordering elsewhere next time. This was once our favorite place to order pizza.

I had a coupon for buy 1 large pizza & recieve 1 large pizza free, i ordered the chicken bacon ranch & the works pizza with tomatoes, Neither pizza had tomatoes and I understand about the tomatoes being recalled, however I think the price of the pizza should have been discounted because you could not put all the toppings on. I feel the pizza cost you less & should have cost me less. Thank You.

Today i wanted to use a coupon that i received in the mail that has an
expiration date 4/30/08 and was told it was not being offered anymore. On
another occasion when we called for delivery we were asked why didn't we just come and get it. What kind of customer service is that!! Today we called Pizza Hut. This Papa Johns store is located in Horn Lake Ms.

I called in my order at 3:30pm asked to pick up at 4:45 the person to whom i spoke with could not hear me i had to repeat a few times, then ask my address, did not ask if it was for pickup or delivery, regardless, arrived at the shop in greensburg pa at 4:44 they did not even have my order, who ever the person was who took my order had put down for pick up at 5:1. I feel this was a need for whomever is the manager to be very nice, they did not, it was as if i was in the wrong. then the boy who took my money proceeded to go over and take dough out of the bin and work the dough, without cleaning his hands when i told the manager this he seemed surprised even though he watched him do it. This the the second or third time i have had a problem with this particular papa johns and the last time i will visit it.

i always eat pj's pizza--but i can honestly say that the pizza i got on jan 13, 07 was a big disappointment. the crust tasted like cardboard, very little red sauce, and needless to say the toppings were very sparse (on a works pizza no less)--i think a frozen pizza would have ranked better than than what i got--then i had to return to get my mardi gras guide because somebody wasn't paying attention. i was looking so forward to watching the saints game and having 1 or 2 beers and relaxing--instead i was aggravated
