AVOID PC FACTORYOUTLET.COM
The motherboard on my EMachines died. EMachines, and several other communications and computer soft-and hardware companies, has outsourced it's product service, parts and technical support to a group called Alorica, Inc. which has a subsidiary called PCFactoryoutlet.com. (PCF). As instructed by EMachines, I ordered a NEW board from PCF. It was not only expensive, but defective. I was required to pay shipping to return it. I received a second board that was worse than the first including bent pins. I called PCF and they said that both boards had tested OK -- obviously untrue or they would not have sent me a second one. I asked for a customer service rep. and was told, "we don't have one of those". I asked for a refund and was told I would have to pay for shipping of the second board back to PCF plus a restocking fee. Who restocks defective goods??? I contacted Alorica, Inc. to speak with customer service and was given the name of the HR Director. I have never known a company that delegated customer service responsibilities to a human resource manager. Meanwhile my son's computer has been down for two weeks and I have had to bring my credit card company into the fray to stop payment to PCF. PCFactoryoutlet.com is to be avoided at all costs. Absolutely the worst internet purchasing experience I have ever had.
