I PURCHASE SWEET 15 BIRTHDAY INVITATIONS FROM PARTY CITY ON LINE IN OCTOBER. ON SUNDAY JAN 8TH I NOTICED A VERY LARGE TRANSACTION ON MY CHECKING ACCOUNT FOR PARTY CITY! I WAS IN A PANIC. I CLOSED MY ACCOUNT, CANCELLED MY DEBT CARD. I FIND OUT THIS MORNING 1/9 THERE WAS A GLICH IN THERE SYSTEM AND I WAS NEVER CHARGE IN OCT SO THEY RE PROCESSED THE TRANSACTION. I DONT HAVE A PROBLEM PAYING WHAT I OWE, BUT I DO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THEM NOT NOTIFYING ME! THIS WAS WRONG!! NOW I HAVE TO CHANGE MY ATM CARD/BANK ACCOUNT IS CLOSED!!! NEVER AGAIN

My son and I were in the Laguna Niguel, CA store and we were not aware that Party City carries costumes all year. We were able to get the perfect costume for my son's event with the help from Ralph the manager of that store. We really did not spend that much, under $100. He treated us like we had spent $1,000. Great customer service. Thanks Ralph!

Latex balloons only last 6-8 hours, of course they were not going to last until the next day. This is common sense and you should have really asked a sales associate before assuming they were going to last past their life time. This was your own fault and they do not deserve a one star rating.

I ordered a dozen balloon bouquet for my grandson to celebrate his winning a gold medal in the state finals championship wrestling tournament. I picked them up at the Rainbow Store on Monday Feb 22, 2010 to give to him on Tuesday, Feb 23rd. By Tuesday afternoon they were all flat. I am very upset because this was supposed to be a special day for him.

I placed an order for my daughter's first birthday party. I had ordered a handful of things including a tiara and a package of latex balloons. The tiara was damaged and they sent the wrong color of balloons. The only way of contacting customer service is by email only. I have not yet received a response from my complaint. DON'T ORDER ONLINE!

I had the worst experience EVER!! I have NEVER been treated so poorly. I should have called the police and made a police report!! He tried to pull a bait and hook. I went into the store to buy some balloons for a bridal shower I was throwing. I had received 3 different coupons for balloons in the mail earlier that week, so I was so excited I could save some money. One coupon 25% off total order, second coupon $1.99 per mylar balloons, $7.99 for dozen latex balloons(standard colors). I needed 3 mylar balloons and one dozen ballons. I stopped by the local dollar store to buy some balloon weights to save some money and then went to Party City. Here is my horrible experience.
First, the MANAGER told my that my balloon weights I had brought in would pop my balloons and that I should purchase his balloon weights for $1.99. THEY WERE SELLING THE EXACT SAME BALLOON WEIGHTS THAT I HAD BROUGHT IN!! They even had an order ready for another customer using the same weights. I should have left the store at that point, but said that's ok. As the staff was filling the balloons I decided to browse the store. The MANAGER followed my asking me again if I wanted to buy his balloon weights. I said no thank you, but asked if he had some sort of balloon bag to help transport the balloons. He said that he did for $1.99. I said I would take a look and the bag WAS A GARBAGE BAG!!! HE TRIED TO SELL ME A CLEAR GARBAGE BAG FOR $1.99.HAHAHA I laughed and said "THat's a garbage bag, no thank you" He said "this is bigger than a garbage bag" (with a giggle- sign number 2
Then, I was ready to pay for my balloons and he told me he could not except any of my coupons. The dozen balloon coupon discount was for standard colors only and I had purple and silver balloons. "FINE what about my other coupons?" I said
He said he could not except my mylar balloon coupon either. He said that the mylar balloon coupon was only excepted on orders for happy birthday ballons. The coupon did not say that. The coupon stated ALL MYLAR BALLOONS $1.99. I told him to never mind then and I was going to take my business else where. HE THEN STARTED YELLING AT ME!! Saying I HAD TO BUY THE BALLOONS!! I told him I do not have to buy his balloons and he said he was going to call the police. I told him to call the police because what he was doing was illegal. I should have walked out by that point, but I HAD TO BE AT THE SHOWER WITH BALLOONS IN HAND IN 15 min.and the shower was 10 min away. He then said "Okay, I give you $1.00 off." I told him fine, but that he lost a custome because I will never be back here again. HE SAID THAT was fine because he doesnt care if he lost one customer. I stated I would tell my friends, family and network. He said that was fine be didn't care if he lost 10 customers(I guess he thought I only have 9 friend). He then said take my website address and tell people not to come to his store ( I think he wants to be out of business). So I paid $16.00 for the balloon even though the bill came to $15.86. I told him to keep the change because he is going to need it. HE yelled "No YOU KEEP CHANGE, I THROW CHANGE IN GARBAGE CAN!" He then threw my change in the garbage can and I walked out the door.

We went into the Party City in Lynnwood, Wa and were greeted by the sweetest sales person. Her name was Nadine. She was by far the nicest salesperson I have encountered in a long time. She knew the store and directed me right to where I found just what I wanted. I thought you should know about what a terrific person you have working for you.

I had a store credit, which I was informed must be redemeed at the actual store of purchase, when I went to that store to purchase a few items they informed me I must use the entire balance. Even if you have a receipt and had paid with cash, they request your license, and even SS#. With all the Dollar Trees, I will never shop at Party City!
