I have subscribed to this site since 2000. I used to work for big law firm that used this service for background checks. If the firm I worked for was willing to use it, why shouldn't I as a regular civilian? It is limited, but I have found out so much about people alive and dead, that I never would have known without this service. I am in Texas. So, do some research to find out if your state is listed.

I've had a subscription for over 10 years. A former private detective who gave a presentation to the local genealogy society recommended this site. Yes, it's limited in the states it covers, but I'm in Texas, and it has the searches I need. $25/year is a bargain.

This is a terrible waste of money. Wait for more review's. I heard about this website on the Dr. Laura Program, KGO 640. I selected a category for the search.Then, I entered the name of person. I am only interested in doing searches in the state of California. There are a limited number of states listed in which searches can be conducted. I don't like the way the number of searches is conducted. I feel like I wasted my time. I also registered at Club Intelius This is expensive and gives very little information. There must be a way to get the information I need without wasting my time and my money. Just becareful. Read as many reviews as possible before tossing your money away like me.

Categories on www.publicdata.com. They list only a few states where you can search in most categories.
