I've had too many problems with my heatpump, installed in 2004. Yearly costs, burned out motor, too noisy, leaking oil. It goes on and on.

I paid $6500.00 for a heat and air unit 2 1/2 years ago--the compressor
failed 2 day's ago ( my old unit lasted 20 years )--I was charged by CoolQuest, $800.00 to replace it--they said labor(one man changed it out in 3 hours)permits and exchange fees came to $800.00--in the middle
of complaining to there Service Mgr. he interupted me to ask where I was from, when I said Teneessee, he ask me where my "STILL" was? This
is no way for a factory or it's distributor to treat people.Buy one
of these units at your own risk--no one seems to want to stand behind there own product anymore.

I find then noise from one of the motors is unacceptable, we have had it changed but it is still louder than our previous furnace and makes an annoying squealing sound even when the fan is not running.
