Disinformation on Tarot history harmful to culture
This is regarding the cultural stereotypes perpetuated by Tickle.com’s tarot reading services. Tickle.com is spreading false information regarding tarot cards. Contrary to what it says on the website, the tarot deck does not come from Egypt and there is no evidence tarot was designed to be an oracle. According to the best available evidence, tarot cards come from Italy and they were intended to be used for playing a card game similar to bridge. People today still play card games with tarot decks. The common occult stereotypes promoted by popular corporate media such as Tickle.com are doing damage to those of us who play card games with tarot decks. I think that we Tarot players should post a response to inform the general public the real truth about this often stereotyped deck of cards.
Authors on the subject of tarot card games are having their works wrongly classified as "paranormal" or "occult" when they should be classified under "card playing". The French cannot use the name of their national card game on a website without being censored by internet filtering software or attracting ads for psychics or paranormal activities. The occult stereotypes regarding tarot are bad for game players.

Too Many Ads
There are a lot of ads and popups on this site, as well as a page of affiliate offers after completing a quiz, advertising free gifts and trials, some of which are known to spam and make it hard to claim their free gift.
