The post on usa insulation is so true. I have spent $6000 on insulation return on investment(second mortgage)is less than 8% the company says(after you buy it)there is no guarantee, yes the foam shrinks 1 to 3% read your fine print, the salesman is a seperate personel so what they say to sell this product does not matter. The one who sold to us was fired somewhere between install & now. They can't guarantee their product won't crack and shrink Just promises no guarantee. There is no pressure gauge on hoses to tell if cavity is filled(like the video they bring tells you.) They will come out again to make it up to you though, when they tell you putting more foam may push out walls, and when curring if not boxed into a wall cavity air will shrink foam, told to me by the installer, when talking to his boss he will say it won't push out walls & if it did he will fix it.(not in fine print hear say only) fine print does say they do not have to fix drywall, its buyers problem. This product may work for someone else but not me. I have pulled down part of my ceiling & saw with my own eyes the shrinkage & cracking I also have pics. Called USA company they want ot throw in more foam trying to fix this shrink problem. When I looked there where no reviews on this foam. I hope anyone else that has problems with it can warn people of the down sides. In short if you talk to a lawyer fine print says you can't file a suit in court as well usa says they try to work with you, but if you choose to get a lawyer we will fight. Ask these questions when the salesmen try to sell it to you, please be more informed than me. Also good luck getting in contact with them with any problems it took me about a month of phone calls to talk to who I needed to. All in All like buyerwhodidntbeware says There is no guarantee just promises.

If I can prevent any of you from wasting money with "USA Insulation" of the Columbus, OH area, my life will be complete. Note, I cannot tell you their insulation won't work for your house, but I can tell you it did not help my house at all. Not one bit. USA Insulation used foam that they forced into my exterior walls from the outside via holes drilled into the mortar joints. At a $3700 price tag. It’s a steep waste of money and one heck of a buyer beware lesson. My walls are still unbelievably (and unchangedly) cold in the winter, and now I even have a harder time cooling my house in the summer. My utility bills are as high as ever. I have had no savings there, at all. This “investment” will never pay for itself. And I can tell you that the foam shrinks. I happened to ask them to leave some of the foam out for me to see. That foam shrunk over time. Noticeably. So... BEWARE that if you don't have much space between the two walls into which they are inserting the insulation, it can't do much insulating. USA Insulation promised me several times that anything I could do to insulate my house would help. They even "guaranteed" that. But it was an empty promise. I later found out there is no actual guarantee. When I did my research on them, I couldn't find anything specific, good or bad. I did find one article that said that if you didn't have adequate space between the walls, it wouldn't help. But I ignored that one and only article, because I was so excited that I finally found someone (USA Insulation, Columbus, OH) who said they could insulate my house exterior walls and said it would help my house and my utility bills. I also checked the BBB website, which showed that there were some complaints against them, although they would not reveal what the complaints were. And the complaints were resolved – again, they would not say how. When I brought my complaint to the BBB, they didn't seem to care that USA Insulation is making unfounded promises and guarantees. So I’m stuck with my house full of “lemon” – and the loan I’m still paying off. Beware before signing up for the services of USA Insulation. There is no guarantee. And it may not work – which they won’t tell you.
Good luck to you all in your quest for insulation.
