Hughesnet recently changed their FAP policy, limiting you to ridiculously low limits. If you exceed those limits (175M in 24hrs) they throttle the connection to about 1K for a period of 24 hours! Absurd.
Lousy tech support. Lies from sales. Slower than dial-up.
You don't want HughesNet as your provider. Again-- a dial-up connection is cheaper, and ,while it is slower it is not limited in the amount you can download.
