I ordered flowers from bloomex for my friend at work, she doesn't want people to know it's her birthday...I ordered them on my name, so I would giive them to her when she leaves home. I called first thing in the morning right after they opened and previous day was a static day, so I was the first one to call. I ordered 15 flowers, in a BOX and asked, if possible, to get them before 3pm the same day...I figured it might not be possible, but I asked to put a note because my friend leaves at 3pm. I was informed that they would be delivered btwn the hours of 12-5pm on the day. However, by 5:10pm, there were no flowers delivered , so I called and cancelled the order, because it was past the 12-5pm range. Next day I had to stay home with my daughter, as she was sick, so I went to work the day after. The flowers were there in a vase and when I asked when and how they were brought, our receptionist said that they brougth them at 3pm but on the day after it was supposed to be delivered. NOT THE DAY I ORDERED THEM TO BE DELIVERED, but the next day. To add insult further the flowers were in a piece of paper and not the requested box. There were 14 flowers, not 15 ..., there was no white powder that maintained the longevity of the flowers that usually comes with the flowers and the flowers did not look like they're worth of what I paid for.the whole order was screwed up. I called and asked for the refund, it took me couple of days to get the manager on the phone, there were no apologies and she told me that they will refund to me ONLY when they get their flowers back:-) After all this, they wanted the flowers back LOL before they would refund the money. The delivery guy came next week to get the flowers. Of course the flowers were already wilted and rotten (still not sure why they needed to get wilted flowers back) . When the refund was finally credited, they only refunded me a portion of my money !! They charged me money for the delivery/deliveries the resulted from their screw up :-) I'm a flower person and I buy flowers every year for different occasions from different companies...this is the first time I saw something like this, no apologies, the whole odrer was not what was requested and they also yelled at me on the phone. I don't recommend this company to anyone, if you want to save money and time and energy and you want satisfcation you might want to reconsider doing business with this company .IMHO Better to go SOMEWHERE ELSE !!!
