I have dropped in to the store on more than a few occasions and they never have what I need. I've also been to the store after see an item on the website listed as "in-stock", only to get there and they didn't have it. Additionally, I've called the store and was told an item was "in-stock", once again I get there and they didn't have it.
The prices at Severna Park Photo are between 15-20% more than what I find at the more prominent online retailers, but that is really beside the point considering they never have what I need.
At this point you might be thinking that I'm looking for rare and hard to find items, but what in each case the items I was looking for were lens filters and other basic accessories for my Canon 400D (which is one of the most popular DSLRs on earth).
The entire experience makes me wonder how they manage to stay in business. Which reminds me..they did close one of the two stores, but didn't bother to mention this on the website and still have the address and directions for the one they closed, this way you can waste your time and gas driving there to find out for yourself.

I'm an avid beer drinker. I've searched for years to find something that my wife would like to drink, yet she always had a problem with whatever we tried. Finally, we found Raspberry Smirnoff Ice. She loves it. She even had my mom try it, and she loved it (that's significant since my mom is French, originally, and has a very odd palate). Now, I go to the liquor store to discover that Smirnoff has "DISCONTINUED" the raspberry flavor! NO! NO! NO! You have got to bring it back!!! I'm telling you, it took me YEARS to get here, only to be back to square one in a seemingly random marketing decision. PLEASE, I'm begging. Bring back the raspberry flavored Smirnoff Ice, or she's gonna stay on my ass about my beer drinking!
