Back in the day Microsoft ruled but someone needs to tell Bill Gates and friends that this isnt the 80's anymore.

MSN provides many of the same features as Google and Yahoo but those features are rarely as good. The days of Microsoft being creative and proactive are now a distant memory.

The description in the overview box is spot on. This is probably the only megasite that has no serious rivals.its just that good!

Photobucket doesnt quite offer everything that its main rival does but it is still a premier photo sharing site that is user friendly.

Yahoo has done a good job with this photo sharing community. The FAQ feature is exhaustive but the irony is you wont likely need it since the website is very intuitive and simple to navigate.

pretty much describes Myspace. The one thing it does well is provide an audience for those into self promotion.

Its hard to imagine that a reference site could not only be useful...but also fun. Wikipedia has succeeded, leaving Encarta as an obscure answer to a future trivia question.

A good search engine is just one component of a top website. It has taken Google a while to see this but now they are expanding with new apps to flesh things out. Yahoo has provided the better content for some time but Google is closing the gap quickly.

Yahoo has fended off Microsoft for now but Google is still a force to be reckond with. Yahoo is trying to streamline things some by axing Yahoo Briefcase. A better move would have been to go after Yahoo Groups which has a glut of abandoned and uneeded listings.
