Item purchased Gas Range Cooker-unfortunately Argos only get reviews from people they select, so if you've had problems you will not be asked to review products or service.
Having spent lots of money and saving quite a bit in Argos in the past, I did not know that Argos and Argos Direct were two different companies to deal with.
Its a bit like Jeckle and Hyde dealing with the two different companies.
On the one hand you can go into your local store order or reserve items as and when you want, get a text or ring them to confirm goods are available, purchase said goods and if any problems arise usually return items without much hassle.
Now Argos Direct are totally different, order goods and they turn up when they want, items were damaged on delivery.
Trying to get a refund from customer service is worse then going to the dentist, you'll have more luck cutting your own throat with a blunt bread knife if you understand what I'm saying.
Please any prospective purchasers of large items being delivered by A.D. think very carefully.
Rude customer service, who lie and if you work for them then I really hope there is a hell (cause you'll go there).
If I'd recorded the phone call, I would have probably taking legal action.
This might seem excessive, but if you get a problem (which I hope you don't) then frankly it serves you right for not taking more notice of what people are saying.
SHOP LOCAL, AVOID THE QUEUES, GET REASONABLE PRICES, EXCELLENT BACKUP AND SERVICE!!!
