On September 28th I put in an online order for a bouquet for my Moms birthday. The total cost was $45.18, the delivery date was to be October 1st(her birthday) to Yellowknife NT, I had put in instructions to call her before arrival (She has MS so with a disability its easier for her to know if someone is going to buzz her apartment)
I let my mom know that I had a wonderful gift arriving for her on her birthday. The eve of October 1st she gave me a call and said she waited all afternoon and no one came or called, she advised to cancel it and get my money back. I tried calling the bloomex phone line but no one answers, all you get when yo call is an automated voice saying all representatives are busy and leave your order number and phone number and someone will return your call. I did this 6 times and no call!!
I tried calling October 2nd again, I finally got a hold of someone but all they could tell me was that they would have someone call me back in regards to cancelling my order.No returned call. My mom waited that day too just incase. I recieved a UPS tracking number stating my flowers were shipped from Richmond BC on Sept 29th and they tried to deliver on October 2nd, no one tried!! I called UPS and they said they "maybe" able to deliver on October 3rd. I advised them they were flowers whixch were probably dead by now! I finally got a hold of a rep that eve with online chat on 1800flowers who told me they could DO NOTHING until they spoke with UPS. I explained to them all I wanted was a full credit for a product I purchased that was not delivered on time.October 3rd my Mom finally recieved the package with no water, and just wrapped in plastic! like I really wanted to send my ill Mom a dead bouquet of flowers 2 days late for her birthday!! They finally gave me a refund MINUS their stupid $9.99 fee to have the dead flowers set back to them! This is after I put in a dispute with my credit card and a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. To this day they have not been picked up.
