I wish I would have read up on them before I ordered flowers, Wednesday, September 23, 2009 @ 3:33:00 PM
I saw this company on a search engine advertising same day delivery so I decided to give them a shot. I wish I could go back in time! A friend of mine is in the hospital and I couldn't get out there until the evening. I decided to send flowers to break up her day, so I placed my online order with them before 1pm their time. I got to the hospital at 7pm and no flowers. I bought her another gift to compensate, planning on cancelling the flowers the next day. Of course I could not get a hold of anyone the next morning when I tried calling promptly at 9am, but I left a voice msg and an email asking someone to contact me and left 2 contact numbers as well. I then got a call from my friend saying that SHE received a call saying that the flowers were on their way and they wanted to make sure she was still in the hospital. I called again and left another msg saying I wanted to cancel them, and finally received an email sometime later saying that I couldn't cancel them as they had been made and sent but since I am out of the production area that it takes over a day. Why did give me the option for same day delivery then?? Why did they not let me know when I ordered them for the same day that it wouldn't be possible? They clearly would see that the address is "out of the production area" when they processed the order, and clearly saw I wanted them to be recieved that day. They charge you the 4.99 same day fee knowing it can't be done, and then after you find out they didn't show, thats all they will refund you! I emailed them again with these questions and some others, but have not heard back. My friend received the flowers the next day but I have not seen them myself so I cannot vouch for their quality, not that I care if they are nice or not at this point.
This company seems not to care at all about customer service, as they have proven by not contacting me or trying to compensate for their mistake and what I believe is false advertising. Its very frustrating not to be able to talk to anyone on the phone too.
The only reason I didn't use a local florist was because the hospital she was in is quite a ways away from me so I was not famliar with any, and thought I'd try something new. I do work in a hospital, and do a lot of patient care, and often have families asking me what florists I recommend. Suffice to say I will be strongly advising against using this company to as many people that will listen. At least I can get some satisfaction in knowing I can help prevent others from wasting their time and money.
From what I have read they try to say that the bad reviews they receive are from competitors, but I am definitely not in the flower business. To prove so I have my order number: 913016
