I BOUGHT A KENMORE HEAT PUMP FROM Sears in May,2002.I am very dissatisfied with not only the heat pump which has been serviced more times than I care to think about. For the past several seasons It has to Be repaired ,winter, summer, doesn't matter.The kicker to this is I bought the extended warranty.Unfortunately they don't tell you that rompt service 24/7 means only on wed. when they service your area. God forbid you need to order a part,because then not only do you have to wait on the part they can only fix on wed. A week or two away.Last summer I did without air for a couple weeks before they could service me. this winter it was 5 weeks or more during the coldest spell we had. Now its summer,Guess what? yep, its out again! I bought from Sears because I trusted the name and was so sure they stood behind their products and and trusted the dependibility of teir service.NOT ANYMORE! Al my friends and co-workers have asked why I have put up with this.They have assured me they will not be buying anything from Sears. I hate to complain but the service I've had from this Heat Pump is simply UNACCEPTABLE!I know i'm going to have to replace this unit but you can bet it won't be purchased from Sears!
