WOW!!! I am very impressed with the Virtual Art Academy's course materials. They are very detailed and are so well-organized. I am an absolute beginner. The two painting classes I recently took were too short to learn much. What I need is full-time, intensive instruction but can't afford private lessons, nor an expensive art school. I feel finally I have the basic information I need to get started and reference material to refer to again and again as I proceed.
I can only imagine the thousands and thousands of hours that Barry has invested in developing this rich program. It is so comprehensive and so well structured. The on-line forum is a bonus. I have learned more in reading a few hours of the material and attempting the first few assignments than I have in hours of class work, home work, and studying art books. I can't imagine anyone--beginner or experienced painter-- being anything but thrilled with this course. It was my pleasure to write this review. Thanks!
