My cam got a lens error which I know was from sand. The error happened at the Santa Monica beach. They did a good job fixing it. It seems to work like new again. I would recommend this place for repairs on these cams. Mine is the canon G9. Oh and they did a bunch of service on my cam too and a fix to prevent the common no power thing that I learned about on this model. I can say it works very well since it was fixed, pretty much as it did when new. Don't take these cam's to the beach or any digital cam. The sand can get you a lens error in the blink of an eye. I learned my lesson from experience. These digital cams should be around sand or that lens error can happen and your lens gets stuck. This place fixes them good for those that have the lens error problems.
