Appreciative customer
I really enjoy walmart.com. I just use it to look up what items they have at my local store so I can easily check the prices and availability. So easy to use. Thanks!

NO REFUND
I made an order on Walmart.com the total of the order was 373.00. it stayed pending in my account for a week and a half. I returned one of the items to a local Walmart store and was refunded 81.00 dollars. this was before the charges for Walmart.com came out. then I got an email saying that something else that I ordered was canceled.
the next day I see charges in my account for 331 dollars. This is completely in accurate if you take 373 minus the 81 dollars I was refunded minus the 34 dollars for the dishes that canceled you get less then 331. so basically the refund I got prior to Walmart.com taking my money out was canceled out when they took the 331. I called customer service and they didn't even understand what I was talking about. then they told me to go to the store to get my refund, then they told me to send in my bank statement. How smart do you have to be to know that 373-81-34 dollars is not 33. I have yet to receive a refund this is ridiculous

STORE 347 ASSOCIATES
I am a associate at store 347 in in Indianola Ms I want to take this time to tell you about two of our associates that stand out in our store the first is Margret Winston she started a program last year for parents that have graduating seniors from high schools. She gets a list of all the of the children names and a place a list what they would need for college and its totally up to our associates to purchase any thing on the list the way the economy is this helps out tremendously to our parents that also is our associates thanks Maragret. The other associates is Pearlie Simpson she is worth a million to.My son joined the marines a few months after graduating from high school. He was shipped out on October 26,2008 to Paris Island,S.C.for boot camp. Mrs.Pearlie Simpson and I purchased several cards to keep Willie spirit up so we went around in the store and had all the associates to sign his card and to thank him for joining the military force to protect our country it is so good to have associates to far beyond to help other associates.

store addition to our neighborhood
Walmart is my favorite place to shop but the stores are not conventiently located in my neighborhood. With the economy increasingly getting worst the small grocery store in my area has less produce and products to offer. I would like to request that Walmart's site locators consider the Oakhaven community zip code 38118 as a possible new location for a Walmart neighborhood store. A great deal of our neighbors has expressed the same interest and would welcome your business in our community.
Sincerely,
Rose Mary Taylor

Employmeny Efforts at a store that my family spend hundreds, is just less than 2 miles away.

Walmart has a store in Antioch, TN, which is about 10 minutes from my home. Since the store reception I have submitted at least a dozen
job applications only to be told repeatedly that all I have to do is
submit a application.
Well for five years or more I've watched the turnover of people while
my application goes unnoticed. I was called for an interview about four
years ago but was unable to go.
Question is? What does Walmart have against Veterans, and why can't
I work at the sores stocking or something. I'm a marine veteran
and was always given jobs and assignments of organization and overseer
and quality control.
I don't feel good when I go to the store and see all the happy faces
aaaknowing I have tried and can't be a part of this great working
environment. Some please tell me why I can't be employed by Walmart,
We are spending lots of money with you.

Fabrics,, Notions and crafts
they say the profits are to low to keep these dept. Then they need to look at what they are stocking them with. The walmarts in my area have little left for crafts. The fabrics are mostly cute pictures, kids curtains, pillows not what you would make real clothing out of. When usable items decrees so do sales

Sudden, unmarked charges
After months of advertising FREE stimulus check cashing, today, in full view of a sign advertising FREE stimulus check cashing, I had $3.00 deducted from my stimulus check for..check cashing! Maybe that's why the store was nearly empty - I will certainly never shop in Walmart again. Store at Hwy 114 and Hwy 377 in Roanoke, TX. Never again! Mary Lee. EX-customer

new walmart store @ westminister colorado
the new store is horrible! you can not find anything! the employees are huddled around complaining about management and their jobs..if you ask for help, you will be told, that isn't my dept...if you ask whose dept it is, you will be told I don't know. and I can't help you...as they cont to gripe about the company that is paying them to be there! If they don't want the job, go home.there are people who need jobs! These people have HORRIBLE work ethics!! I have been in my 30 jobs, and would never treat a customer the way these people do!! the store is on 70 something and sheridan,,,I will drive the extra distance to the old store!!! You need new managers in the store!@ usually the csm's are complaining with the workers! horrible, service, slow cashiers and many do not speak english well enough to deal with the public!!! avoid this store! I will tell anyone who will listen about this walmart!!

Why is it so hot in your store?
Why is it so damn hot in here all the time? I don't know how your employees can stand it. They tell me the temperature is done out of state. That is ridiculous. This is Lewiston, Idaho not Nome Alaska. Turn down the heat and people might spend more time in the store. As it is I can't wait to get out of there. Andrea in Lewiston, Idaho.

walmart fabric and layaway
Have heard that Walmart is going to discontinue fabric; not a wise choice; neither was the closing of your layaway depts. Sooo many people depended on the service ; especially at Christmas time. A real shame. the people who shop at Walmart keep it going; if they are not happy, then? what??

What is the refund policy, anyway?
On August 19th, I noticed that my graham flour rang up at $1.84 rather than the $1.24 that was listed on the price tag under the item. First I went back to the flour and double-checked the price (I usually write the prices down as I buy items b/c Wal-Mart has a pretty good track record of mispricing, nearly always in their favor), then I went to the service desk to get the difference refunded.
I also asked the customer service woman whether Wal-Mart still had the 'refund up to $3 back if you are overcharged' policy, and she didn't really know. I said that the old Wal-Mart on the other side of town had the policy, but a woman there, let's call her Crankella, told me they'd discontinued it over a year ago. I said that just a few months earlier as this new location (we've been 'blessed' with a Super Wal-Mart--how did we live without it) a manager type guy told me they still had the policy.
Just then, Crankella showed up with assistant manager Greg and told him I wanted the item for free. She was rather disparaging about it. I said I just wanted clarification b/c she was the only one saying the policy no longer existed. Crankella said that they discontinued the policy after the remodel at the old store and it wasn't posted anymore and the cash registers didn't always work when such refunds were attempted. Crankella also said now they had to give me the item free b/c I brought the policy up. As Crankella walked away, Assistant Manager Greg said it was state law and he gave me the item free after a few clicks on the cash register which seemed to operate smoothly.
I just want everyone on the same page, and I want customers who pay attention to prices to be given a little credit for trying to let the store have a chance to correct their signs so others don't have to go through this. This time it only took about 20 minutes to get consensus.
Last time I believe my 79 year old mother waited for me out in the car for 45 minutes or longer (she thought an hour), just to find one person who seemed to have a handle on refunds. At the time, I wondered why it was worth it for Wal-Mart to be paying 2 or 3 employees whatever it is they make, for nearly an hour, to refund my couple of bucks, but I'm sure their bean counters must have that all figured out.
Worth my time? No, but I'll probably keep doing it. Maybe I'm a glutton for punishment.

Checking out at Walmart
Just got back from shopping at our local Walmart in Jacksonville, TX. Had to stand in line for over 30 minutes with frozen food items. There were only to checkers and one was the express lane. I had more then 10 items. I had over $200 worth of groceries. I spend around $800 a month at Walmart. That's over $8000 a year and then I'm punished by having to stand in line. I deserve better treatment!!! No one should have to stand in line period!!! What are they thinking? Shame on Walmart!!!

walmart on west kimberly rd davenport Iowa
I was in walmart a 5:45 on July 22 2007 I was in the garden department. I have never been treated so badly The clerk was very rude, and she didnt even want to wait on us. Then she make a 2.33 dollars mistake on my bill. she said oh well go up to customer service for a refund. Then the three clerks that were standing there had a good laugh. Why is it that the customers are always the ones considered rude. What about those clerks.

cleanliness and pricing
I shop at a store on two notch road in Columbia, SC. The rest rooms in this store are so filthy DHEC should be notified. There is a Target store a half mile away and the rest rooms there are so nice and clean, so what is the problem with Wal-Mart? There is also a problem with pricing, 40% of the items don't ring up at the posted shelf price and I have to go to customer service nearly every time I shop, which is another wait!!!

too too many check outs installed in WalMarts stores!
When they built the WalMart store in Hermiston, Oregon, they built too many check out stands. Then they could have used the room for more shelving and displays. Thus the areas would not be dead areas and wasted space.
My husband and I just left WalMart. There were two checkers for the regular check outs and there were four 20 or less items check stands open. There were 23 people with carts in line to check out. We were one of them. We stood in line for 28 minutes. I called the 1-800 line to report the situation. I was on hold for 13 minutes and 22 seconds. I hung up. WalMart owes me for my minutes. Maybe they are short handed at CUSTOMER SERVICE also.
Just as we are the next ones to un-load our cart, a checker came up to us and offerred to check us out.She was pleasant and so was the 15 year WalMart veteran that bagged our groceries.
What in the world is going on? Why would anyone have to wait for almost a half an hour to check out? Where are all the checkers? What happened to the big Sam family? And customer service? I can't tell you.
I think that we will make the drive to the Tri-Cities, 24 miles away, rather than deal with being treated like we are invisible,un-important
no-body's. There are other stores here in town also that have much better sevice. So we do have choices and we are going to use them.

Wal-mart Supercenter?
Someone needs to take a look at this store(#0068)Wynne AR.,and try to help it improve in every area.Never have I been there when they have any more than 3 or so checkouts open and every time I do visit there is always something they do not have on the shelves. You may find a good product a couple of times then it will never be stocked again.Honestly, the store does not have the merchandise like other stores do nor do they restock like others.Every time I go there I say it's the last,I keep returning thinking that maybe this time I will find everything satisfactory(not gonna happen).I will have to drive a few miles extra to another store but until new management or changes are made I will no longer shop at the(so called)Walmart Supercenter in Wynne Ar.A very dissatisfied unhappy ex-customer..

FABRICS
I shop Walmart at St. Cloud, FL and am so VERY, VERY, VERY disappointed that the fabric department is being discontinued. I always appreciated the good buys in fabrics and quilting supplies and will have to go miles through much traffic to another fabric store. PLEASE keep fabrics in our store. Thank you.

Shoe Dept. mess / checks
If it were not for being able to buy sewing notions at Wal Mart, I would shop somewhere else for everything.
I hate what has been done in the shoe dept. It is hard enough to find the right shoe when you go to your size and see what there is available. I don't have the time to go up and down every isle and look for a shoe I like and then after spending all that time, find out it is not even available in my size. I won't buy shoes at Wal Mart any more unless they go back to the way it was.
I don't like the way the checks are done now. Anybody can get one of your checks and use it at Wal Mart since they can run them without your signature. I will not write a check there anymore.
It is my opinion that greed is ruining what Sam Walton worked so hard to build. What happened to the personal quality Mr. Walton wanted his stores to have, that quality that made Wal Mart what it was?

fabric dept.
Please, please do not discontinue the fabric and notions dept. I have been buying my fabrics there for many years, I have made dresses, aprons, pantst, vests, and shirts and more with fabrics from your store.
The fabrics are good quality, colors, and designs are great. Again,
please keep the fabric dept in!

Walmart, Riverhead NY
I have to second a previous poster's negative comments about the Riverhead Walmart. I think of it as "The Walmart that God Forgot". The employee are terrible; not even the greeters are friendly. I'm not as devoted to Walmart as the previous poster; I quickly switched to Target after moving to Long Island's East End because it's friendly, clean, and well stocked. (KMart isn't much better, although at least they've got a recent remodel going for them.)

I realize that Walmart has little incentive to improve this store, as the plans for a new Super Walmart are going forward. But if they can't get better employees, I'll still avoid the place like the plague.

"SPEEDY CHECKOUT"
I shopped the Wal Mart in Oldsmar,Florida on my lunch hour and was amazed that your 20 Items or Less "Speedy Checkout" is NOT Speedy!I had 5 people in front of me and it took 18 minutes to check out!! Between 11:30am and 1:30pm most people are on their lunch hour, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure that you need speedy cashiers at those locations. I don't usually shop the Oldsmar location because of their poor service and s l o w cashiers. I wiil never shop that location again!

If Sam Walton was still alive.
It's a shame Sam Walton, the common man, cannot see what is being done to the Wal-Mart stores across the nation. He built his stores for the common man, not the affluent. They have ran all the small businesses into the ground, then went up on prices. In Paris,Tx, one can shop at Goody's, Sears, Penneys, etc and find clothing just as economical as Wal-Mart's. One of the main reasons I shop at Wal-Mart is for sewing supplies and material for upholestery and quilting. If they choose to discontinue sewing supplies, I'll do all my shopping, elsewhere. Makes one wonder, too many quilts made cheaply with cheap labor are being imported, is this one of the reasons the material is being discontinued?

Riverhead NY Walmart
I have been a Walmart shopper & advocate for at least 20 years. I appreciate the prices & the quality one gets for those prices. However, I must state my very negative opinion about the Riverhead, NY Walmart. It is not clean. It is cluttered. Empty shelves are the norm at any time of the day and, while most of the staff if pleasant & helpful, there are a number of employees who are rude & obnoxious. Today when I informed 2 employees that the containers of whole milk were completely frozen the response I got was "What can we do?". When I suggested that they inform the manager I was told there was no manager in the store.---This on a busy Saturday afternoon at 3 PM!
Unfortunately, since I moved to eastern Long Island, this Walmart is the closest to my home. If something is not done soon to improve things I will be forced to shop K-mart or Target, both of which are also in Riverhead, NY.

I agree with the many postings that are calling for you to keep fabrics in your stores. I buy many, many fabrics and notions there. It is convenient and inexpensive. I have also read recently that sewing is on an upswing..don't discourage that!!

Fabric Department
This is in regards to the removal of the fabric dept at the wal-mart stores. I have been buying fabric there since I was 20 and I quilt alot. I am a single mom and have struggled to make ends meet. There is no other place that sells fabric as cheap as wal-mart does. Even if you raise the price of fabric on the yard I think many would be willing to pay it in order not to have to go so far or pay over 8 dollars a yard for broadcloth. Please reconsider this and think of the people. After all if it wasn't for us wal-mart would be out of business.
