Wikipedia is among the biggest sites of the internet. There is absolutely not one thing that you can't find on wikipedia.

For me, Wikipedia is my first port of call for my studies and if I ever need information. It's a great free service though do be aware there are some inaccuracies because anyone can contribute

Its hard to imagine that a reference site could not only be useful...but also fun. Wikipedia has succeeded, leaving Encarta as an obscure answer to a future trivia question.

Wikipedia is not the problem. Humanity is. A lot of the entries are well researched and erudite. But some are mischievious and misleading rather than malicious. Double check anything on here. nevertheless its a useful starting points for research

That wikipedia is actually very good. Although it is entered by users, the site has a lot of accurate and useful information on it. The people who write the pages are people who know about their subjects, and I have also noticed that it is regularly edited and also policed to some extent. I have used it for lots of things and it has been very useful to me.

Its surprising how many people take what they read there as gospel. The info is entered by visitors to the site. The links point to allot of the visitors websites. Just like Dmoz!
